“Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly ”

“I have traveled all over the world and this is my favorite place. The food is absolutely delightful! I am a chef and restaurant owner and I am completely blown away by the food! I truly joy the entire atmosphere.The walking paths through the grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. The cottages are beautifully decorated and clean. If I could live here, I would. I come here 1 - 2 a year. This is my oasis away from the snowy tundra in Superior, WI. The owner, chefs, staff, and grounds man are all……

“Room was clean but refrigerator was broken and the ASM was rude. ”

“The room had the ac unit cover door broke along with one section of the vent. The carpet had a big square cut in the floor not seemed back in. The sheer curtain was stained. The bathroom vent was very noisey and the shower nozzel was caked with lime. The elevator something spilled and was .sticky to walk on. The coffee was barely warm and taste old and to strong. Then they charged us a hundred dollar deposit and said it would take 2 days to be put back on. ”

“The first week was fine, when the second week charges were paid they ran my card twice. Although the second charge dropped off after 3or 4 days it tied up my available balance and was very inconvenient. I spoke to a manager who was supposed to send an email saying the second pre authorization was in error but she never did. The third week we changed hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly but the rooms had problems we asked to get fixed but it never happened. ”

“Rooms was not clean, cobwebs in the corners an the ceiling... the main entry light did not work (no bulb) in it. 2 days in to my stay, had to change rooms cuz of bed bugs (room 133) Ice machine doesn't work. I do not recommend staying there”

“We showed up and immediately asked for our money back. The property smelt terrible and it was very unclean. The customer service was decent and did give us our money back.”

“It is not a completed Boutique Hotel. Building is being renovated and sits behind a lower level motel. You check in at the other motel and drive through the parking lot to an unmarked building. Lobby is unfinished. There is a handful of rooms down a hallway. No staff. Room was ok. Dirty in corners of the room. AC/Heat control on the wall did not work. No ice or vending machines available. Parking not identified or marked. ”
