"First of all, I love these people. I got to know them personally and they treated me like family. This is something I do not expect or actually even really want because you just don't know who you're going to get and alot of times personalities just don't jive. But the hosts here are excellent, personable, and authentic. They shared their life experiences, were real and not manufactured like you often can get with meeting people if a professional capacity. My little kids would run up to them and give them hugs every time they saw them and you know little kids will often go hide behind their parents legs upon meeting someone new. My kids are like that and that didn't happen with the hosts. The vacation rental is in a carriage house and is very clean, tastefully decorated, and had alot of space for my family. The river side is slow, wide, quiet, and peaceful. We didn't really get to use the amenities as much as we were out in the city every day. However, we made sure to make it back early enough to hang with the hosts every night for cigars, fireworks, and drinks. I wouldn't expect this to happen with every guest, so lets get that straight. I just happened to have a fortuitist first meeting with them the first night of our stay. Beds are comfortable, very warm, and very big. check in and check out were very easy and we wished we could stay longer to spend time with them. The kids love their new uncle and auntie"
