"Hummingbird Holler is a great place! I can't say enough about how much we liked the property, but here's my attempt. The property is secluded and the hummingbirds are amazing. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the creek. The pink deer are a perfect landmark! The house is had everything to make our stay complete. The rooms are spacious. The living room furniture is very comfortable and the beds were great, The owner was very quick to respond to messages, much faster than I was to see them and respond to him! (Sorry about that Kevin!)There were bad thunderstorms before we arrived which caused flooding and washouts along our route to the house. But Hummingbird Holler is well-constructed and all measures have been taken to ensure that water drains from the property effectively."

"House was very clean, great location. Everything about the house was great, whether you have a small group or a very large group. The host was very attentive. Would highly recommend this property for anyone. I really liked that. This house was somewhat secluded. You had to drive back through the woods on a gravel road to get there. I would definitely return to this house."

"It was a challenge getting to the cabin because of torrential rains that flooded our route. We called Tara and Mike and they gave us an alternate route to take…so appreciated the help! Once we arrived, the rain continued and caused us to come up with plans other than hiking and exploring. The cabin is very nice inside and out. We enjoyed the fire pit between downpours and also enjoyed the hot tub. We caught up on some movies we wanted to watch and just enjoyed a relaxing time. Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, we had a great time at the cabin and look forward to coming back to Acorn Cottage! Beautiful cabin, easy check-in, and everything we expected."
