“I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me.……

“Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. ”

“The hotel was reasonable but def not worth the £311 we paid for a night! I appreciate the concert being on drove the price up but was def not worth anything like that price. The room was fairly big but old and dated. The bathroom was again massive but quite dated also. There were some marks on the carpet that looked like burn marks and again for the price should not be there. The staff were great, could not fault them. We didn’t get to use the spa so can’t comment on that and the breakfast was……

“We use the grand hotel every year and have done for 17 years now. The last couple years it's got more strict and not really family friendly. Room had a window but not allowed to have it open and the temperature was extremely hot. We ordered food (takeaway) and got told we had to eat this in our room. I tried to explain how hot the room was and no where to eat this except sitting on the bed. They didn't seem to care. I asked for 2 extra pillows and a extra fan just to try and circulate some air.……

“It was the most disgusting place it needs to be cleaned up. We could not even view the room we had to find alternative accommodation which was extra cost not budgeted for. This place should NEVER be advertised. I am sorry I paid for this poor excuse of a hotel”

“Only 1 very trivial thing was the lawn was a bit long, which just made it a wee bit difficult to find & lift our dogs poop ”

“We were back again for another week in this home from home property. Its just great you have to understand that lots of people have been inhabiting this property. Maybe some dont treat it as they should. Keep up the standard and like us they will come back again.”
