“We loved our stay at the West Coast Surf Inn. It is an old school motel in the best way. Clean, comfortable, and no nonsense. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the room was well kept, and the shower had great water pressure. They even had great local coffee in the room with the coffee maker, which was a really nice touch. Bonus points for actual Charmin toilet paper, which says more about a place than people realize. It is affordable, honest, and clearly a family-run place by folks who actually……

“The proprietors are so friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are very clean and pleasant. This is my second stay, and it was just as good as the first. The shared kitchen is an added bonus, and is well equipped. It's also very close to the beach trail, so ideal for runners or hikers. The only slight negative is the proximity to the freeway, which is noisy, so if that bothers you, bring some earplugs. The location is great, and the parking is plentiful.”

“Room was really nice, bed was very comfortable. Just a few little nuisances, the toilet ran water continuously, the shower seat was missing, the shower handheld was missing the adjustment knob. But overall, the room was good value. ”
