Everything you need for great stay
We had a wonderful time staying at this Villa. The Villa is only about a mile from Sumpter Landing which is full of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. It would be hard to find a better location. We stayed for the months of January & February. Weather was in the 60's and low 70's and almost no rain. It’s a 2 bedroom 2 bath Villa. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils and supplies you will need. The stove was gas which we liked. There is also an outdoor functioning gas grille. The enclosed lanai was great. The sun comes up in the morning and warms it up and is gone by the afternoon. That’s important, the afternoon and evening sun can be brutal. There were plenty of TV’s and the internet is fast enough. We saw no bugs of any sort inside. There were 2 sets of miscellaneous golf clubs that you can use if you forgot yours. The pool and Rec centers were near by and the villagers we met were all friendly. The owners have put together a very informative book of information and instructions of the villa and the area. The Villa also came with a golf cart. It ran great and is a necessity in the Villages. If you don't have one you will feel out of place. If you had to rent one you’re looking at more than $500/month. We talked to the owners a few times and Tom and Christine are very pleasant and responsive to any problem that could happen. This is a rental that we would stay at again.

Beautiful and clean Villa
This villa was very clean and very nice to stay in. Tom was very responsive to my questions and very helpful. The check-in and check out procedures were very well spelled out. Communication was very good!

Beautiful, wish we could have stayed the full time. Had to head back to Michigan 2 days early. Only draw back is having to wash sheets/towels. That put a little damper on the "vacation" aspect.

Our Virginia Trace Stay
My adult son and I stayed at the Viginia Trace for a few nights in early Sept 2023 as I wanted to check out The Villages as a retirement location. I give the unit and its Host a well deserved 5-Star rating for its condition, cleanliness, location and the Host's attentiveness. This short stay was a perfect solution for our needs and a far better selection than any nearby hotel. Heartily recommend you consider this property for your stay in The Villages. Dan

Very nice home

Most comfortable and relaxing experience
Exceptional location, right next to The Landings Center. Having golf cart was an extra bonus. House was very clean, cheerful and comfortable. Owners were great.

The Villages at Sumter Landing
We found this Villa last minute for a stay in the Villages. We were drawn to the Villa for the extremely close location to the Sumter Landing Sq part of the Villages. We also liked that it came with a golf cart. We could not have been happier with the location, and beauty of the Villa. Check in was super easy. I would rent the Villa again if the occasion arose. We only used the king bed but it appears to sleep 5 or more people comfortably. We liked that a grocery store was very convenient as was the town square with lots of eating options...

A sweet retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our villa in the villages. The villa is furnished nicely and is supplied with everything one could need. We were happily surprised with the quality of the appliances, dishes, glasses etc. The location is ideal for enjoying all the entertainment the villages has to offer. We would definitely rent this home again in the future.

A wonderful place to stay
Everything was great. Property owners had all the little extras that you might need there and clear descriptions of what you need to do. I did not understand how important a golf cart was to have in the Villages before we were there. Now we know we will always want one when we visit. Thank you for an enjoyable stay we will be back.

Great location
Very nice Villa in a great location. Air conditioning and ice maker worked great. Enjoyed the use of the golf cart. Unfortunately the masterbed was a bit uncomfortable.

Perfect for two people and great location
It was just me in the rental. Better communication about guest passes would of been good. Who knew I would of had to experience a hurricane during my stay. Other than that my stay was very pleasant.

Nice 2 br close to Lake Sumter Landing. Everything was as described. The only heads-up I would give, which they are very fair about giving warning of, is that they do expect you to do more cleaning on exit than most VRBOs (e.g. change the sheets, where most places just expect you to, at most, put the sheets in the laundry)

Excellent Home
The fenced in yard worked perfect for our dogs. The unit was very nice and clean. It was very close to Sumter Landing. The restaurants and shopping were within a couple minute ride by golf cart. Enjoyed the music every evening. Would definitely stay their again.

So comfortable and the golf cart was great!
Had to come as my mom as her health is in decline. The home provided comfort and everything we could have asked for. An emotional trip was made easier by having such a relaxing place to come back to each day. The management of this home is excellent!

Outstanding Professionalism
The property is well represented on the VRBO site. Contact with the owner was immediate, courteous and professional. As shared in the description, the property location is outstanding. Directions, entry, and general information was great. The owners follow through is excellent including making sure the Village Guest Passes were prepared ready to be picked up. The golf cart had a headlight out and the gas gauge did not work properly but was schedule for service, picked up and returned. The owner even allowed us to use their personal golf cart during the service process. The king bed was exceptional comfortable and the shower was near perfect. Ample closet space throughout the home. The available washer and dryer worked well. A minor improvement suggestion was that the ironing board was missing from where it hangs in the garage. The owner indicated he was not aware it was missing and it would be replaced ASAP. We look forward to booking the property in the future.

Issues
1st off we were given the wrong address so we knocked on the door and talked to the person who was renting the house for the address they gave us. I called the owner and he got us to our place. Second the master bedroom bed squeaked so bad and seemed lumpy I shot a video sent it to the owner he said he would come fix it but we opted to sleep in the other smaller room. My wife said the bed spread smelled like a dogs secretions she was disgusted. There was a used old bar of soap in the master shower and long black hairs all over the other tub I had to clean up. I went to get our weekend passes at the rec center to find out they had the wrong dates for our stay oct 3/4 we were there oct 29/11/1 so I had to call the owner again and then hand my phone to a stranger to talk to the owner in the days of COVID. The person at the counter said this owner screwed up the dates of the guests a lot. The furniture is miss-matched old and beaten up. The patio door off the lanai doesn’t lock. The golf cart was fun wi-fi works good only free streaming apps to watch for tv which we were ok with. The owner seems nice and was helpful but needs to pay attention to the details. We had to leave early and brought our own linens and bedding otherwise you have to wash everything before leaving. Think it’s a little weird you pay for cleaning yet I spent time cleaning from day one.

I can completely understand the concern that the tenant had because he was given the wrong address by mistake. That started a sequence of events that resulted in a very unhappy tenant. I apologize to the tenant.
