“Overall, this was a great house for our family of four and our needs. Close to our extended family who we were visiting and close to downtown and river. A unique older home with lots of character. Our host, Chip, was terrific! He allowed us to check in 30 minutes early and made himself available if we needed anything. Thank you Chip : )The only slight critique I could offer would be to have different sheets available for the beds as the current sets felt rough. It was our first time in Cape……

“This place is an excellent get away in Southern Illinois. Adjacent to a small lake good for kayaking and bird hunting. Recent updated in a duck hunting theme. Really nice and comfortable, both inside and on the screened in patio.”
