“Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. ”

“Smashing location - nice accommodation, don't be put off by the somewhat weathered exterior of the building. Clean and comfortable room, OK breakfast, nice evening meal, though note that if you book dinner the drink they offer you is NOT included, which only became clear at checkout! Great location, competitive price, nice grounds. Dog friendly. Pleasant and helpful staff, though a very small team”

“Returning to this historic hotel for a third visit was just as enjoyable as ever. Although my room was smaller this time, it was still beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I was especially grateful to be allowed an early check-in at no extra cost, which made my trip even more relaxing. The food remains outstanding, and the staff continue to provide a genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful service throughout. “The room was clean and the breakfast was good The only issue was the stairs to the room as our room was on the 3 floors there were a lot of stairs to climb and we both OAP which was very tiring. On the hold it was a good experience but we would not stay again due to the stairs.”
