“Excellent short, one night stop here, arrived about 1800, check in was smooth and quick, staff helpful and friendly, only a short walk to the room. “We used The Red House as an overnight stopover point to break up a long journey from 'up North' back down to the south coast. The building is 200+ years old and Grade 2 listed so lacks some of the refinements you would find in a more modern establishment. However it was clean and tidy and suited our needs. “this hotel is a little surprise. Doesn’t look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building. However, once you enter it is a very different experience.
