“This visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory.”

“The apartment was pefect for our first two nights in Scotland. Easy to get to once we arrived in Edinburgh and everything was explained clearly by Mark, so we new exacty what to expect. The apartment was very well equipt with everything we needed and some wonderful extras during our stay. The woodstove was an awesome highlight as we kept warm playing games at night and enjoying the wine and treats left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend as a stop during a Scotland roadtrip or longer stay.”

(I always bring extra tea towels, kitchen foil etc because most houses we stay in never have them but this place had everything). The view is amazing, and you can walk straight onto the beach. “We all immediately felt relaxed upon walking through the door. The place just has a cozy feel. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to decompress and just hang out. You must go to Puck's Glen though, which will be more than enough exercise for your stay.”

“We could have spent all our time sitting in the lounge or out in the garden enjoying the fantastic views of the islands. We were lucky with weather most of our stay so views were stunning. Only downside was the picture windows in the lounge had trapped condensation on them so the views were restricted somewhat by that. Enjoyed the walk up the hill behind the house most mornings. Great day trips to Mull, Seil and Easdale. Highly recommend the Smiddy cafe in Lochgilphead for coffee/cakes and……

“Waterside is a stunning property in one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. The property was well appointed and there was ample room for our family group of 8. We were blessed with great weather so enjoyed the views from the balcony. We made use of the information about the local attractions and went on the ferry to Tarbert as foot passengers (great advice), ate at Botanica at the Barn and Kames Hotel (both amazing) and spent a glorious day on Ostell Bay beach.”
