Houston Timber Creek Golf Club Hotels

"I travel to Texas several times a year. Most of the time I stay at this hotel. NEVER, in any hotel that I've stayed in have I had a room that was surrounded by rooms that were being renovated or been having construction going on. Didn't see any other guests on my floor. Heard lots of banging. Saw lots of carts with tools and paint buckets & the such in the halls. I appreciate the fact that this location is getting a face lift. It needs it. However this should not be interferring with my stay. The pool still needs some major attention. There should be hand rails to aid in being in and out of the hot tub too. I do believe I will be exploring one of the many other hotel options in this area on my next trip."

"This is my go to place when I come in to Houston staff is good. Beds are comfortable good breakfast in the morning and very good coffee for hotel coffee"

"Air worked great. Room seemd clean. Toilet was loose and wobbled. Found dead water bug in room. Bathtub is deep so if you shower and have mobility issues could be an issue. I am under 50 and seemed challenging to me. We were arriving after hours and had messaged days before. Staff communicated right back and said lockbox info would be texted at office closing time on the day we arrived. It was not. Left message for a return call and didnt receive. Had to call emergency number after hours before we arrived. They said they would figure it out and get back to us. They didn't. we arrived and someone was in the reception and gave us our key. A little worrisome when you are arriving in the dark after hours not knowing if you can get into your room. Overall good value but wouldn't choose this stay again. Also window was open we had to close when we arrived. Luckily my husband noticed as it was dark and opened to the courtyard."

"First off, the desk clerk could not find my Expedia reservation and was not helpful in resolving my problem. We ended up paying for 2 nights AGAIN with the hopes that Expedia would refund my money. This hotel is being renovated. The 1 working elevator was sketchy. Our room (suite) was newly renovated and nice but hot. We called the desk for towels (bathroom was short wash cloths) and we had to go back down to the front desk ourselves to get them. I have stayed at many Hampton hotels and this is the first one to disappoint. "
