“The guesthouse is nice enough but the staff were standoffish to begin with. There was an unexpected extra charge for my dog to stay. They had their large dogs roaming freely, which was intimidating to nervous dogs on leads. The shower in our room was old and complicated to use. I forgot an expensive orthopaedic pillow at the guesthouse and requested it to be sent to me. The owner assured me he had it, charged me €35 and sent an old battered cushion with no cover at a cost of €9. Overall the stay……

“The room was perfect. Our trip was great with this hotel added to our trip. The location is absolutely beautiful, quiet and safe. The breakfast was delightful and sitting in the beautiful dining room was so relaxing. Can't wait to go back!”

“The only thing we can complain about is that we couldn’t stay forever with Cathy! The place is much better than expected (really, much better). Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. And of course, we must mention Cathy again, she is incredibly nice, kind, intelligent, talkative, and made our one-night stay feel like being with family. “The farmhouse was very clean with a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding areas. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend for a short or extended stay.”

“Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good.”

“There was no receptionist. Someone from the bar came out. The buffet, you walk in, someone's said sit anywhere by the window, that was it..... I didn't know if we could order food or if it was just a buffet and the buffet was not easy to see. There were two employees working that just kept walking by me before I figured it out. Not friendly at all. The only reason I stayed here was the location, would not stay here again. Room was very small and if you have luggage hard to get into the room.……
