“TLDR: GO! I originally booked the Taj in Candolim, which honestly left a lot to be desired. I stayed one night and immediately moved to the Hyatt and wow… what a difference. From the second I arrived, Along at the front desk and Nok at the lobby bar were super warm and welcoming. It set the tone for the whole stay. There are a ton of little touches that make this place feel special. Great poolside service, killer king prawns from the BBQ, and genuinely friendly staff everywhere you go. At……

“The best place to stay in Calangute. Right in the middle of the busy parts. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. We did have to ask for towels and a hairdryer though. You need to hand your key into reception if you want your room cleaned, they don't tell you this. The attached beach shack is lovely, friendly staff, free loungers and great food. Pricey compared to places away from the beach though and a lot of sellers hassling you. Whatever price they offer you first, take a 0 off……

“All the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We stayed in a very nice river view room which had a really comfortable bed. There was a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet and we had some of the best food of the holiday when eating at the hotel in an evening. We were very happy with the quiet location of the hotel as this was across the river from the very busy Baga resort and beach, but was within easy walking distance.
