“The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed including a kettle which was very welcome for making tea. The nearest big grocery store is about 3 miles away. The property is in a very attractive area a short walk to shops, beach and water side attractions. The whole area is very attractive. “We love Kingsmill. It is peaceful, pretty and convenient. This condo has a great view of the river, and a nice big family room/kitchen for people to gather. We came for my daughter's graduation from college and the grandparents stayed with us too. It was great to be where they could take walks and enjoy the quiet away from campus. Harris Teeter is close for groceries and we could do laundry right in the condo. It was easy to eat at the Kingsmill restaurants also. We didn't have access to the gym……

“This is a fantastic condo. Located near all the amenities that we have access too. My daughter was playing a big two day golf tournament, so the proximity to the putting green and course was golden. The owners communicated well and description was spot on. It was very clean, comfortable and attention to detail was great. My favorite part was the king size bed!!!!! So so so comfortable. I really enjoyed the property and will book again.”

"The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for breakfast, some trying to open the emergency exit—which triggered a loud alarm. The real issue started after 7 a.m, when the emergency exit began functioning as a regular door. Guests continuously came in and out, causing the door to slam shut every 2–3 minutes. The loud banging made it impossible to rest. It was truly exhausting and disrupted our rest completely. Getting a good night’s sleep is one of the main reasons to stay at a nice hotel, and sadly, that didn’t happen here. All in all, this property is ok—but if you're assigned room 126, 128, or any room near the emergency exit, request a room change to avoid a similar experience. "
