Relax in comfort by your fireplace or hangout with family/friends on your oversized deck. Savor the tranquility as your backyard boasts the 5440-acre Tobyhanna State Park.

In the summer enjoy your outdoor private community pool, beach and lake. In the colder months hit the slopes at Camelback Ski Resort minutes away by car.

Your property:

The Mountain Lake Cabin is your perfect family, friends and/or couples retreat for outdoor/nature enthusiasts looking to seek tranquility and adventure in the Poconos. As you arrive to the cabin, be cautious of wildlife i.e. deer, woodchucks; they are very common out here! Also, ensure you drive slowly so you don't miss the driveway entrance (Its gravel). Your spacious driveway can accommodate 6 vehicles comfortably.

There is plenty of fun to be had as you enter the cabin through the front door which is located on the deck. You have a front deck (very cool), with a Fire Pit, BBQ, and an outdoor table and chairs (season dependent). You’ll also have access to your own private ping pong table and Axe throw game on the deck.

You'll head into the kitchen where you'll have access to your unlimited coffee bar, stackable laundry with a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and all the essentials to cook robust meals with your family. You will have no problem cooking up any meal in this fully equipped kitchen. With our coffee bar, you have endless options including regular ground Folgers coffee, decaf coffee, a starter number of K-cups, 6 flavors of tea, creamer and both sugar and sugar substitutes.

Before walking into your living room, you'll have your welcome/work desk including a dedicated workspace, your interactive guidebook with house rules/manual, and with an abundance of local recommendations.

Get ready to sit on your living room couch with a cup of coffee, while a roaring fire ensues out of your rustic fireplace. The 55 -inch HD fireTV loaded with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and local cable ensures enjoyment for your whole family. Board and card games including Uno, Yahtzee, Dominoes and many others are provided and give a load of fun options for everyone. There is also a record player with a vinyl collection. It doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, so you can connect your phone to play your own music!

Grab your blanket and cozy up on the couch by the white brick fireplace in front of our real tree bark cork wall which enhances the cabin vibes aesthetic.

Your high ceilings, high windows and skylights offer an open and inviting ambiance with ample natural lighting that your whole family will love.

Your dining table that seats 7 provides comfort for 7 of your guests to enjoy a meal together. It's connected between the living room and the kitchen. These spaces make for your perfect setting to enjoy socializing while you prepare beverages or a meal.

You have 3 individual private bedrooms, and each bedroom includes a Roku television.

You will find the Master Bedroom at the end of the hall close to the bathroom AKA "The Mountain Room". This room holds A queen size bed with a premium mattress (which are on all the beds). This lavish space also holds a 32-inch Roku TV, close with ample hangers, and a clothing rack.

Next to the master bedroom is "The Ski Room" which includes 2 twin size beds, a 32-inch Roku TV, closet with ample hangers, and aesthetic and welcoming Ski Decor.

Close to the living room you have the 3rd bedroom, AKA "The Lake Room." This room includes a full-size bed, a 32-inch Roku TV, closet with ample hangers, and vibrant and captivating Lake Decor.

For all three of your bedrooms, enjoy beautiful views of Tobyhanna State Park out of your window!

Your bathroom is located outside the master bedroom. A newly designed tile walk-in shower brightens the room. You'll have premium bath and shower products from both Public Goods and Ginger Lily Farms, including hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A hair dryer, make up towels. and iron/ironing board is also included.

Guest access:

You will have access to the entire home except for 2 locked owners closets and the locked shed in the backyard.

Closets are located in the hallway, and one located above the fridge.

Other details to note:

The A Pocono Country Place community has 2 Lakes, a beach, a pool, a playground, basketball courts and tennis courts for you to enjoy only a few minutes from the house!

The outdoor pool is only open during summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

For a small fee of $12 per day per person, you can utilize all of these amenities. The wrist bands can be purchased from the front desk at the community office.

All guests must be registered with the community and will be required to submit their license, and registration to us to get your vehicles parking passes to use during your stay.

*In order to guarantee access to the community and amenities guests need to book and submit the required information needed to get you registered. This includes: The guest who books mailing address, cell phone number and all cars being parked license plate numbers and state registered. We need this information at least 3 days before the reservation starts. We can try our best to get you registered the day before (except on Sundays as office is closed) but we can't guarantee it. *

A $75 fee will be charged for a booking made with 48 hours or less until date of check-in. The community requires this last-minute fee for processing.

Early check ins and late check outs are available for a fee.

Please note, since our cabin is nestled in the heart of the woods, you might come across some of our local wildlife neighbors. While we do our best to keep them outside, occasionally a critter may sneak in. It’s part of the charm of being in such a remote, natural setting. Just something to keep in mind during your stay!

Note about the Backyard:

Our backyard backs up to the serene and expansive Tobyhanna State Park, providing guests with a peaceful, wooded retreat. While the space is surrounded by acres of beautiful, dense forest, it is currently in a natural, untouched state with no formal landscaping. We embrace the rustic ambiance it offers, but please be aware that it may not be manicured like a traditional garden. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and connection to nature.
