Easiest check-in and check-out experiences ever! There were four of us traveling together and we appreciated the spaciousness of the suite. If you are looking to catch a sea plane to Isle Royale National Park I highly recommend staying a D's Base Camp the night before.

We have stayed here twice during MTU move-in week, and the location is convenient to Houghton, without all the chaos of trying to stay and park downtown. The cabin has plenty of room and the amenities are fine. My only concern is there are some electrical issues in the bathroom causing the GFCI to trip frequently, and the smoke detectors were both dead.

If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. This place is clean and comfortable. This is exactly what we were looking for.
This would be an incredible spot to host a group side-by-side or snowmobile ride.
Hopefully we'll get back up in this area and we'll be staying there again.

The kitchen was fully equipped with stove, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, bowls... Everything you would need to prepare and eat a full home cooked meal. Fridge worked and was clean as were the rest of the appliances. Beds were clean with clean linens. Same with the bathrooms which were fully stocked with washcloths and towels. I would stsy here again if needed.
