Lovely little place to stay. Love the tea room ryokan theme. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a lovely traditional Japanese breakfast. Probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Even went home with a little polaroid photo of my self in front of the building. If you have the money it's definitely worth the experience.
Property was very clean and the staff were very nice. We enjoyed the daily breakfast. Our room had a private onsen bath which was very small, not big enough for 2 person to enjoy at the same time. The room was traditional but not comfortable.
Amazing staff! They had great recommendations and even helped us navigate the transit system. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. This is a great choice if you are looking for an immersive cultural experience with modern conveniences!
Amazing ryokan tucked away behind Senso-ji.
Such friendly people
Comfortable, quaint, cosy tea house feel with every attention to detail.
Delicious breakfast and best of all access to a private rooftop onsen.
The perfect place to end a fabulous trip and this will be my preferred Tokyo accommodation for future trips.
This is a beautiful property and every amenity has been thoughtfully crafted. It's quiet and peaceful here and the service was amazing. I would absolutley stay here again.
If you are looking for a traditional and warm Japanese living experience, this place is for you. The staff is amazing and the room and hot bath are clean and tidy. However, I found it a bit too expensive.
Staff were some of the kindest people we'd ever met in Japan or anywhere while travelling. They felt like family by the end of our stay and we're incredibly warm and welcoming.
The staff was amazing, so kind and courteous. The staff was the highlight, the room was very clean and well taken care of. The room was slightly smaller than I had expected, but that was not an issue!

Wonderful staff that makes you feel welcomed. Clean and beautiful facility.
Amazing place to stay! With staff that really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and a beautifully calm atmosphere, this ryokan is an absolute must for any trip to Tokyo. It was my second time staying here and I'd absolutely return here any time I'm fortunate enough to return to Tokyo. Additionally, the breakfast is the best meal I had my entire trip - its simple ingredients executed to perfection, and such a comforting meal to start the day. No idea how this place could possibly improve!
This was the best place I stayed at on my entire trip and maybe the world.
The staff were fantastic especially Ria.
The place is cool, welcoming, great breakfast and all around a brilliant place to stay.
Loved it x
The Cyashitsu Ryokan was exceptional. From the welcoming, helpful and friendly staff, to the beauty of the entire facility. We loved the room, the onsen, the dinners, the breakfast...everything was exceptional. We would highly recommend and will definitely return.
