The room is small as we do the standard size, but it’s Tokyo so you can’t expect the room to be really big. But they got everything you need in the room, laundry, cleaning tools, and cooking equipment. It’s supper convenient, there’s a lot of food that open really late and only 15 mins walk to Akihabara! I enjoyed my stay here with my family and would definitely comeback!

Good location. Walkable to nearby train stations and shopping. Property was very clean and quiet. The room slept 4 comfortably, though not a lot of space to open/store luggage. Just enough if you’ve packed light. Perfect for a short stay.

Location very convenient! Close to train station, shops and restaurants and in a quiet area. From the hotel t was easy to get around to other parts of Tokyo including Shibuya and Shinjuko. The staff were also very friendly and helpful!

Great, quiet location. Friendly staff and good size room especially for Tokyo. We traveled as a family of 4 and stayed in the Deluxe Studio apartment with 2 double beds and 2 sofa beds. Good size compared to what I’ve seen. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a repeat customer for a few years now, and I always enjoy staying here. The location is excellent—just a 30-second walk to the Chiyoda Line and about 7 minutes to the Ginza and JR lines, while still being in a quiet neighborhood. The 24-hour concierge service is another highlight. The staff have always been very kind, friendly, and helpful. The only thing that has changed since my previous stays is their luggage storage policy. They no longer allow guests to leave luggage during a short trip or too far in advance. They only allow luggage to be stored one day before check-in or on the day of check-out. Because of this, I had to book a few extra nights during another trip just so I could leave my luggage there while I was away. I sometimes leave a large luggage for a short trip between the stay so this was only negative thing to compare with other places. Overall, I still really enjoy staying here and would happily return. I just hope they might reconsider their luggage storage policy in the future.

My son and I stayed at Section L for a week in the deluxe twin room. The room was perfect. It had everything we needed (refrigerator, washer/dryer, cooking stove and supplies). The room was spacious enough that we did not feel cramped. We had a separate dining area to enjoy our meals. We loved that the toilet was in a different room than the shower and sink so we both could get ready for the day. The staff was amazing. Very helpful in recommending places and assisting with whatever needs we had. They went above and beyond in making sure our stay was perfect. And it was pleasant to talk to them on our return from outings; they became like friends. The hotel provided an umbrella to use on rainy weather. And it was a quiet location. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to be back again!

Very nice little apartment hotel! Helpful staff, spacious, clean rooms and lovely boutique vibe. Quite neighborhood with great food nearby including Nepalese restaurant right on the corner, 10 steps away! Would highly recommend Section L hotels.

We really enjoyed our stay at Section L Ueno! We got a “family suite,” which was two adjoining rooms. The space was perfect for our family of 4. It was great to have a separate room for the kids, since they go to bed earlier than the adults. We took advantage of the in-room kitchen and ate breakfast in our room each morning, which allowed us to get out and about more quickly. The in-room washer/dryer was so convenient. The staff were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and so kind. The location of the hotel was perfect: close to multiple train stations, walkable to Ueno Park, 7-11 and Family Mart right around the corner, but also very quiet. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!
