"This room was disgusting. Holes in the walls. TV falling off the wall. Baseboards look like years of build up. Pubic hair in bed. No sheet beneath the blanket. Did not supply bedding for pull out even though they knew we have 4 occupants. Supplied only one washcloth and 3 towels. Holes in the towels, and they looked dirty. "Several staff members were unengaging and fairly curt. The car valet guys were nice but having to valet the car every time we used it was inconvenient and expensive. During our 4 night stay, the room was only serviced the third morning at my request because I had spilled coffee on the sheet the first night and they didn't service our room at all the next day. They only did it the second morning because I requested it. The first night I also found a long dark hair on one of the hand towels and placed it on the floor to be replaced but no one came the next day. Our coffee pods and sugar in the room were never replaced and the trash wasn't emptied, even on the one day we had service. The Kelly hotel is attractive but we're not likely to stay again, which is a shame since our son and DIL live in Birmingham and we visit often."

"We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the Convention Center. The homes location for the tournament was really good! We walked to the Convention center the first day, about 20 minutes, but drove the other 2 tournament days. Overall, the property was clean and very spacious for our needs. It is an older home with a lot of charm. The host was very responsive with any questions. Check in was a breeze and the beds were incredibly comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, I would recommend to bring ear plugs, as throughout the night there were several barking dogs, airplanes and trains both nights we stayed.The bathroom served our family just fine. We did run out of toilet paper as only one roll was in the home, so we had to purchase more during our stay.Overall, it was a good stay and a great value. "
