We stayed one night at The Brantwood and it is one of a large number of small guest houses in Torquay. The property is a bit shabby in places but all the important details were taken care of. Lovely hospitable host, comfy bed, quiet location yet walking distance to town, tasty breakfast and easy parking. We will definitely be back !

It was a lovely stay with lovely hosts and always there if you needed anything . The room was lovely with coffee and tea making facilities included. There was also a tv with wifi available. A breakfast was also included in the price and plenty of options to choose from. There was also cereals and toast if people preferred that and choices of juiced coffee and tea. The full English that we chose to have was delicious and used high quality produce. Also included a large pot of coffee or a pot of tea and a fresh bottle of milk. The bed was lovely and comfy and the guest house was very clean. A lovely stay and will definitely go back again

1st time in Torquay, definitely will be returning. Our hosts were charming, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is conveniently located if you’re happy to enjoy a short walk to the seafront and onto the town. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants along with the usual seaside activities that you would expect. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Oh, and great start to each day with a lovely cooked breakfast! Hope to see you soon.

The room we stayed in could definitely do with an update but it served a purpose as a one night stay. The hostess and her daughter were great though, couldn’t do enough for you and were a great asset.
