Incredible views! Hosts are very responsive. Would definitely recommend! If you have low car, be careful on the long driveway. There are one or two spots you'll want to take at an angle so you don't bottom out.

This is my second stay, again, sharing the property with friends. It’s a warm and friendly environment with space for individual privacy yet perfect for a gathering. A spectacular view of the mountain from its large deck and comfortable outdoor furniture encourage an outdoor evening wind down. The host are everything you could ask for; available to contact as needed, but never intrusive, genuinely concern that you have a perfect stay. Great find!

Terrific mountain getaway

Cozy home with a jaw-dropping view of the Berkshires & Catskills. Completely furnished/equipped with everything you need to stay for a weekend or a week. Comfy beds, good sitting areas, fun downstairs with pool table & bar. We'll be back!

Amazing West Cornwall Home

I stayed here with my wife and we were simply amazed by the views from the back deck. It certainly felt like a home with a lot of space for activities and is somewhere we'd love to visit again.

Great mountain getaway

The house was very clean and had all the amenities. The view was unbelievable and the area is great. Perfect place to stay while visiting Lime Rock. The hosts are great and very accommodating. Will definitely be back.

3 Generation Ladies Weekend

My daughter, granddaughter and I spent a wonderful weekend at this home. We enjoyed every second of the view, wildlife, peacefulness, and each other. We built puzzles, cooked wonderful meals, and relaxed. Beautiful home, perfectly kept, fun amenities, and wonderful hosts! We highly recommend.

Charming Mountain Retreat

This is our second year staying with at Karen and Larry’s property and it did not disappoint. They are incredible hosts and their home is conveniently located near the Lime Rock Track (less than 3 miles). It’s a beautiful and peaceful setting and extremely comfortable home. We highly recommend.

I don’t think you could ask for a better rental. Perfect picturesque location, large clean house, and thoughtful owners who equipped it with everything we could possibly need (and more) for our weekend stay over New Years.

Beautiful view + wildlife

The photos online do not do it justice. The deck and view are incredible especially at sunset. We only had one good sunset unfortunately as rain clouds rolled in on our second evening / night. Lots of deer roaming, a few bats, a frog and a black squirrel were also spotted around too. Overall a beautiful house inside and out accommodated by amazing hosts! Highly recommend this place

Absolutely Wonderful!

I have been renting houses for nearly 20 years to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. This house by far exceeded all of my expectations. The house was well suited to handle a large holiday meal, including my choice of china supplied by our gracious hosts. This house is very well equipped and nicely appointed. The icing on the cake is the stunning panoramic mountain views. In addition, Larry and Karen, our hosts, were extremely responsive and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. I would definitely consider renting this house again in the future.

Quiet Getaway

Pick this place for leaf peeping

Hosts have thought of everything—bottle water, creamer, birthday candles, readers in case you forgot your glasses, binoculars, paper plates, flashlights, multiple hair dryers, etc, etc. Very clean, gorgeously decorated, beautiful property. Lots of amenities—fun, large game room, fireplace, wonderful back porch with grill and fire table, fully adjustable (up/down/feet up/dowm) master bed. Beautiful views, lots of Fall colors, close to Mohawk state park, West Cornwall covered bridges, cute little shops. We spent half our trip leaf peeping/going to orchards/baking apple pie and we spent one day commuting into Brooklyn and the drive was beautiful. 2.5 hrs from Brooklyn, 1.5 hrs from teeny tiny little Tweed New Haven airport where Avelo air has great deals on flights. Highly recommend staying at this lovely house with great views and amenities.

Mountainside respite

From the moment we walked into this house , we were wowed. The incredible picturesque views that streamed in through all the wi dies in the house made us feel like we were enveloped by nature. We were able to enjoy sunsets and sunrises from the panoramic windows and the house itself was exceptionally clean, had quality appliances and everything g we would need to prepare meals. Karen and Larry, our hoses, were extremely responsive and accommodating. There were beautiful roses, snacks and bottled water and coffee and tea to welcome us and the linens and beds were of superior quality and beds very comfortable. It is a very spacious and comfortable house and the photos do not do it justice. We enjoyed the house so much that we booked t fir June before we left I can t say enough about this lspecracular property We have stayed in several properties throughout the years but none could compare to this one We were very lucky to have found such a transporting get away Rosemarie and Joe and Friends

A perfect and magical house!

Everything about this beautiful house was absolutely perfect! First of course is the extraordinary view. We saw it at Christmas time, and it was mesmerizing and enchanting, even without snow. The light and clouds put on a show, illuminated and transforming the different mountain ridges and peaks all day long. On the horizon to the north is the imposing silhouette of Mount Washington. So far it is the most spectacular view I have ever seen in the Berkshires, or from a Vrbo rental anywhere. There was abundant wildlife, including a family of five bluebirds, hawks and deer. Coyote and Canada geese made us feel we were deep in Nature. At the same time, we were minutes away from civilization, such as the picture perfect towns of Falls Village and Salisbury, and the restaurants of Litchfield. My adult children adored skiing at the incredibly quaint Mohawk Mountain. The farms and woods and colonial architecture in the area are extremely picturesque, including on the road on which this property is located. Equally perfect was the exceptional hospitality of the owners. They furnish the house to anticipate your every need. I felt I was at a luxury resort! In our case, there was a Christmas tree, a fireplace ready to be lit, a notably generous welcome basket of goodies, coffee and tea galore, etc, etc. The pictures do not do justice to the superbly well maintained and well laid out house. Everything feels fresh and clean beyond belief. Thank you Karen and Larry!!

We are frequent fliers at this property, as it’s our home away from home when we compete @ Limerock Park Raceway several times a year. We couldn’t believe our great fortune to find this spacious and well appointed property, with wonderful, attentive hosts that make our time in the area a dream. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place to anyone spending time in this beautiful part of western CT.
