"I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring."

"It really has the feel of a fancy student dorm, which is refreshing. At school, I never had such luxuries. My one complaint is that some fixtures seemed a bit shoddy, and the shower door didn't close properly, so it leaked. Breakfast was okay, but not fantastic. If you are going to use the gym, timing matters since it can get crowded. You also needed the room key to call the elevator from a higher floor, which is odd."
