## Emplacement
Touques is a charming town flowered and lively all year near two major seaside resorts: Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer (3 km).
In the Middle Ages, it was the second metropolis of the Pays d'Auge: its very active trading port was protected by a castle which was one of the main residences of the Dukes of Normandy. You may be able to see the remains of this castle (towers, enclosure, moat) in Bonneville-sur-Touques (2 km).
