「Property needed a deep clean. I sneezed a lot and had black dust come out of my nose. Heating didn’t work sometimes and the room was quite cold. 「The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. 「We had issue with our original property. However, it was esybto communicate with the staff and they promptly moved us to a different property which is even much more better than the previous. 「We booked this stay for our daughters birthday, all the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The reception were great with our daughter, they noticed it was her birthday and gave her a nice jar of jelly beans. The room was clean and as expected, facility's were great especially the pool area. We had a buffet breakfast in the morning, the selection was plentiful and all the food was good quality and presented well. We will visit again.」
