"Superb guesthouse in convenient location close to city centre. Close to bus routes too. Very accommodating owners. Lovely, clean room with everything you could ask for. "I was very happy with the hotel overall. The facilities provided were excellent, and I had a pleasant stay. My only disappointment was that I did not get the sea view that was shown in the pictures when I made the booking. I was expecting a room with a sea view, so this was a little disappointing. Apart from that, everything was good, and I appreciate the facilities and services provided by the hotel."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Alverton. The room by the courtyard was very nice, and the bed super comfortable. Nice and quiet as well. The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast - we had decided to stick with the continental option, the buffet was limited, the toast we had ordered never arrived, and my mum’s gluten free toast got there only just before we left, more than half an hour in. I appreciate things can get busy, but it was unfortunate that there was no communication about it."

"Despite being at the hotel during a bad storm we had a good stay. We made use of the pool and poolside amenities with our 6 yr old who enjoyed it. We ate at the Brasserie and had the best meal we’ve had for a long time - it was expensive, but worth it. Our room was clean and well presented; it was a luxury family room with a sun deck. All the staff we interacted with were polite, helpful and positive. We’d definitely stay again and recommend."

"Storm Austin unfortunately rattled the sash windows for most of the night, but this was the only negative. The pool and other leisure facilities were great. The sea view was spectacular. The breakfast menu was excellent as was the food. There is sufficient free parking. And every single contact we had with staff was so warm, friendly and helpful. Thank you Falmouth Hotel myself and my daughter felt very safe and cared for."

"When I arrived in Newquay I was confronted with Road Works directly outside the Hotel and was forced to make a 3 mile detour just to get to the Hotels front door, I know this is not the Hotels fault but I did find it frustrating. The receptionist was helpful and made me feel welcome, which, in my opinion, is very important. My room was on the second floor and overlooked the afore mentioned Road Works but this did not have any real affect on my stay as there seemed to be nobody working on site. The room facilities were good, with light refreshments available and these were topped up daily. The room was cleaned daily and the bed was remade every day. The bar/restaurant was extremely pleasant, service was efficient and the staff were polite, helpful and respectful. All in all a very pleasant stay and very good value for money and I would be quite happy in recommending this hotel."
