「The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

「This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Firstly, the limited parking availability was not mentioned at the time of booking, which caused immediate inconvenience upon arrival. And I paid £10 to park at public parking area.
More importantly, there was no hot water available in the room. We checked in at approximately 4:00 pm and discovered the issue when attempting to shower. Upon contacting reception, we were informed that the hot water tank had run out and that we...

「Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. 」

「Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub.
Good bar on site.
We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues).
Would return.」
