Nice private cabin

Cabin was clean and in a quiet setting. Beautiful view of the mountains and loved sitting on the front porch swing. Had a spacious living room and screened in porch.

Wonderful cabin near the Smokies

This cabin is the perfect quiet getaway near the smoky mountain national park. Perfect for a relaxing stay but still near enough Gatlinburg and pigeon forge we enjoyed evenings in town.

Peaceful stopover

We loved our time in this sweet and peaceful cabin! It was so nice to have a cozy place to stay after hiking in the park all day. This was our second year staying here as a weekend stopover before heading to the Outer Banks in NC!

Quiet and Peaceful

Truly enjoyed our relaxing stay on the quiet side of the Smokies. Took the short drive to cades cove several times, but really enjoyed mornings on the porch and just hanging out. Such a quiet and peaceful setting

Quiet and beautiful

We just wanted to quit trip to Townsend and we came across this little cabin and it was great. The views were amazing watching the baby calves in the pasture across the road was very enjoyable and it was amazing just how quiet it is there.

Cozy cabin

We loved it as soon as we pulled in the driveway. Everything inside and out was so welcoming. Loved sitting on both porches. Beautiful views. I don't think you can walk to cades cove though. It took us 20 minutes to get there in the car. If you like being out of the crowds and in a more peaceful atmosphere, this place is awesome! We're already making reservations for next year.

Wonderful!

We are almost certain we stayed in this same cabin on our honeymoon, 23 years ago, and didn’t realize it’s the same place until today!! If not, it remarkably similar. It’s cozy with a beautiful view with a short drive to Cades Cove!! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Sweet and Quiet Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our vacation to the Smoky Mountains. It was very clean and the location was perfect. It had the best views and we enjoyed many beautiful sunsets on the porch. The cabin was cool and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The large and cozy living room had a nice size tv and very comfy couches. The town nearby was very close but still far away to feel private and quiet. If you are looking for a cabin on the quiet side of the park I would definitely recommend this clean, cute and cozy place!

Amazing and cozy!

We arrived late Fri and departed Tues AM. This cabin is in a great location, beautiful property! I absolutely loved the cabin setup! Was wonderful to enjoy a fire one night. :) I’m in love with the couch! LOL Everything was perfectly clean and tidy! My only confusion was the reference to running the dishwasher upon checkout…neither my husband or I could locate a dishwasher! Could be we’re both blind, but nothing under the counters in the kitchen. Haha! Luckily we only used a couple plates and those were easily washed by hand. I would very much recommend this location; communication with the owner was easy and when I spoke with her, she’s very warm and kind!

There’s absolutely nothing I can say other than perfect. We come to the Smokies every year and have always stayed somewhere different each time we come down. This place is “THE” place to stay. I don’t plan on going anywhere else from here on out. If you’re like us, and trailer a bike down with a 3/4 ton truck, then you’ll be pleased to know that all the roads in and out are wonderfully paved. Be careful because the roads are a tad bit narrow with a truck and trailer but I had 0 issues in or out. The owners were fantastic to deal with, very courteous and kind as well. The neighborhood is very quiet, calm, and peaceful. I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven in the Smokies, then look no further. We will definitely be back. See you next year!!!

Perfect Place!

Our kids rented this cabin for us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We have always stayed in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge so this was a new experience staying on the 'quiet side' of the mountain. We were thrilled with the property - SO much room for 'all the things' and absolutely beautiful! The cabin was perfectly clean and we had everything we needed. The owner had even put a note on the kitchen table from our kids, along with a bottle of bubbly and Hershey kisses. It was such a sweet touch. The property was so peaceful and the views were beautiful! We were a perfect distance from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg - we absolutely loved the location! We had a wonderful dinner at Trailhead Steak & Trout and we enjoyed breakfast and shopping at Apple Valley Mountain Village. Both establishments are very close to the cabin and it was wonderful! We are huge fans of Cades Cove and this property knocks on the door to one of the trails leading into the Cove. It's perfectly located, have I mentioned that? We went horseback riding and saw lots of bears - all in Cades Cove. We traveled to Gatlinburg and had a delicious dinner at Calhoun's, but it was wonderful to get back to the 'peaceful side' of the mountain and relax. We highly recommend this VRBO, and we are already planning to return. Staying in Townsend opened our eyes to so much more than the attractions at Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, and we have a lot more to explore! Thank you for everything!
