Peaceful side of the Smokies

Me and my Wife love staying in Townsend, it is so much more peaceful than going into the busy side of the Smokies. I am so happy that we found this condo, it is perfect for us. This will not be the last time we stay here, and we have recommended this to friends.

Great location

We loved staying here, it was comfortable and felt like home. I will say though, the home needs a deep cleaning. At first sight everything was clean and tidy but upon staying for a few days we noticed some things like sticky floors and dirty walls/ baseboards. Overall great place to stay on vacation!

Great place to stay

Beautiful, peaceful gated community. Very clean spacious apartment, all as described.Being from the UK we were disappointed that there was no tea kettle, and a Keurig coffee maker seems to be the norm in most places we have stayed, so that would have been convenient.The Wi-Fi detail provided was incorrect, but we managed to figure it out. The 10 digit door code caused us an issue on entering the property a couple of time, but was ok once we got the hang of it.All in all, a great place to stay, brilliant location and very spacious, clean apartment.Thank you!

Wedding Getaway

This is a great weekend getaway or place for an extended stay. It’s the perfect size for a family of four. The kitchen is equipped with basic necessities. There is small table on the back porch to sit and enjoy the scenery of nature while drinking your coffee. The neighborhood is gated and quiet; all the neighbors were very friendly.

Great condo on the Peaceful Side

Property was very nice and secluded. Quick/Easy access to all that Townsend has to offer. Quiet condo complex with beautiful views. Peaceful side of the mountain but still only 30 minutes from the many activities in Pigeon Forge. A few things kept me from giving 5 stars- Floors were a bit dirty, TV in second bedroom wasn’t working, and no Keurig coffee machine. Overall, it was a pleasurable stay with no major issues. Would recommend!

Great condo

We loved staying at this condo. It was “off the beaten path” but still close to everything we wanted to go see. It honestly seemed more residential than vacation, which we loved. We arrived at night and had a little trouble locating the condo in the neighborhood, and the keypad to enter the condo took some getting used to. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. We have a 4 year old and loved the ability for her to move freely that we don’t get in a hotel. The pool was empty for the most part so the days we went down to swim, we had the whole pool to ourself. Definitely recommend this property!

Comfy condo

Cute condo in a convenient location. View is good. Has a patio comfortable for 4. I would return. I would suggest printing the WiFi password and having in condo. I messaged through Vacasa twice with no response regarding this property. That is my only complaint.

Not specific on location and lots of issues entering and exiting unit!!! Don't go through Vacasa their customer service will hang up on you.... and more than once if you have any issues.

Could have been great

This condo is new and in a quiet location behind a coded gate. Townsend is really nice if you don’t like crowds in Gatlinsburg or Pigeon Forge. Perfect for access to the Smoky Mointain National Park. If only this condo was cleaner, everything is dusty, and the linens were not cleaned prior to arrival. If I managed this property the place would be spotless after each guest. The place also need to be sprayed for insects, I removed a wasp nest at the front door. Good thing there is a washer and dryer so I was able to wash the linens myself. Hire a professional cleaner and this place would be great.

Perfect Location & Super Clean

Very lovely condo. Super clean with great furnishings, smart TV's and beautiful bedding. We love the mountains and University of Tennessee football. Great location close to hiking and then a short drive to the game. We had a great experience!

Townsend was the perfect location for our stay. What a charming town - beautiful scenery, great choice of restaurants, cute shops. SO glad we chose to stay here. The condo was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We look forward to booking again.

This condo was nicely decorated and furnished and clean. The beds are really high for a 5’2” person who cannot climb or jump, so I recommend bringing a step stool. It was fun seeing a bear walk out of the woods looking out the glass back door.
