“Quiet despite being downtown; clean room although the bathroom area had a faint wet-dog odor. Everything else was nice and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would stay again!”

“This is not a fancy property, but it is new, airy, bright, and comfortable. Best of all it is right downtown, and is dog friendly, a requirement for us.”

“We arrived early by 2 hours at had to finish drying sheets. The condo was hot and fan going full speed. Air conditioner did not work. Called host and she said she would have someone come look at it. Never happened. Also host told us she was having trouble with front door lock before we checked in. We could never get door locked ! Made us very nervous and had to leave entire condo unlocked for our stay. Called host and was never addressed. We feel Host knew both problems before we checked……

“Enjoyed our stay. My only constructive criticism is that we would have appreciated more pillows, ideally a mixture of different types as well. The four pillows included were all super thick and not comfortable for side sleepers.”

“The location was great and was the reason we selected this motel. The property was very dated but clean. Our room had 2 queen beds, a full- sized fridge, little table and 2 chairs. It was an up north Michigan experience! The check-in instructions from Expedia said I'd receive an email before check-in. That didn't come so I called the motel directly and was told they aren't able to gain access to contact info through 3rd party sites. Check-in & check-out was very easy though.”

“Beautiful beachfront location, and the kids absolutely loved it! The staff was also very friendly. Unfortunately, the property itself is extremely old and run-down. The rooms and overall property were not as clean as we expected, and some things simply cannot be fixed with cleaning due to the age and condition of the property. The balcony was especially disappointing—it was not clean and wasn’t really usable. The beachfront location, friendly staff, and fun for the kids were the highlights, but……

“Loved the retro decor and attention to detail. Appreciated bedside tables on either side of bed, as CPAP users it makes life so much easier. Also access to outlets and charging ports on either side of bed was great. The staff were most helpful when we had to check in much later than anticipated. Loved the outside appt earache as well.”
