I put the heat on 85 and froze all night. The water took forever to get warm...Otherwise it was a beautiful facility. I thought I had booked a room at the main lodge but this facility was 3 miles away. I got it. I booked very late.

The lodge was very nice, very clean and a great location. Check in was super easy and we had no issues with that piece. Our only negatives are I had a difficult time sleeping because the mattress was extremely firm. My wife thought there could be a couple wall hangings to make the room have a warmer ...

House had everything we needed for our winter stay of 3 nights. Dog friendly was perfect. We snowshoed on the lake and did day trips to Traverse and Boyne.

The location is unbeatable — truly just 7 minutes to Schuss Mountain for incredible skiing (or summer golf), right in the heart of Shanty Creek Resort, and only a quick drive to Short's Brewery in Bellaire ...
