Location of the hotel is excellent Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were clean and exactly what we wanted

This property is an older property. The rooms are clean and quiet and the grounds are kept. There is no sandy beach front, instead there is an ocean wall where one can relax in a lounger. The WiFi is weak and our cable tv did not work. We asked twice to get it fixed, it was never fixed. Buffet breakfast is average with Thai and North American choices. The public pool area is located near the front entrance, cars can be heard speeding by. The rooms are located down steps and downhill paths. Guests with knee or hip issues might find this difficult to manage. The best part of this hotel were the great staff. All were friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. Sumchai was always available to help.

My is the biggest disappointment with Celes Hotel in Koh Samui is the fact that the Hotel did not adjust the double charges made to my account for two rooms at the hotel for exactly the same dates. Celes Hotel has clearly avoided addressing and correcting this double booking. Jalal Naghib
