“It was a great location for our multi-generational family vacation-- a short car ride to the Hull Cove Visitor Center in Acadia National Park. The street was a quiet private road. Our granddaughters and grand-dog had room to romp and play. Well stocked, well maintained and tastefully appointed.Everything about the home was perfect for us!”

“The property was as advertised. Clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 5. Host was very nice and easy to contact.”

“Place was very nice and clean. It had towels, TP, paper towels, and dish soap and pods. Quiet area and felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again. Only thing would be to bring an eye mask for sleeping. The 5 am sun coming in woke us up early each morning.”

“The place was clean, and close to everything we were there for. Trying to get check in information was terrible. Once there we enjoyed the stay.”

“Condo was great and located close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Clean and as described we enjoyed our time here.”

“Our extended family of 11 stayed here for a week. We had plenty of room for Grandma and Grandpa, four adults, and the five grandchildren (ages 14-20). The open floor plan on the main floor had plenty of room for us to hang out together in the kitchen, eating area and living room. There is a large game room upstairs that we didn’t take advantage of because we were busy doing other things. But we enjoyed a couple of dinners outside on the patio and a fire around the fire pit. The bedroom on the……

“The property was beautiful and clean. There was a fire pit and wood and we sat out enjoying evenings looking over the ocean. We had 2 more people than they had kayaks and we asked the host where we could rent some nearby. He told us he would supply them and he went out and bought them the night before we arrived! Check in was easy - nothing! Check out was the least requirements we have ever had. The proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia were a breeze. Hands down the best host I have ever……

“The apartment was clean well set up. What soured the experience was a complete list of how to find where the towels where, or how connect to the WiFi or how to use the tv. But we were unable to the EV charger despite some messages exchanged with host, who eventually stopped responding. In general he stopped responding all together. What would have made a huge difference would be welcome letters with instructions how to operate things.”

“Wouldn’t recommend ”

“It was a great location close enough to Acadia. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. My only complaint was the shower curtain. It was too short and too close. It kept sticking to us anytime we showered. Those curved curtain rods and longer shower curtains so water doesnt get on the floor would have been much better.”

“Loved our stay at the Primrose Inn!”

“The bed is kind of soft and not comfortable. The breakfast was good”

“We had a good time staying in Hearthside. First it has the nicest and most friendly staff. Second its location is fantastic, we love it that it is not right in the middle of the busiest street but it is a 5 min walk from it on a quiet small street. Third it is also great that they keep hot and cold water jars and some snacks on the dining room table at all the time and we found these very helpful when we returned from a long day touring outside . On the minus side which we hope they can improve……
