“This is a great property if you are looking for a private, quiet and relaxing stay in the woods! They had everything we needed and then some. The hosts are very responsive. I especially liked that it was pet friendly. Easy to get to west Jefferson, Lansing, Grayson Highlands State Park & more. Would stay again! ”

The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. “Our family stayed here for a week and loved it. Tatiana was a great host, and she very graciously allowed our younger children to take a tour of her small farm, and feed/pet the animals. The owners lived close by and are there if you need them, but also give you space. The property is full of all kinds of creatures, sheep, pigs, rabbits, deer, ducks, and feels like a Peter Rabbit storybook. The house itself was very clean and had all of the essentials necessary for cooking. The fridge was even……

“The back yard made the stay wonderful. It is definitely the focal point and rightfully so. It is gorgeous and serene just to sit on the swing and watch the koi fish. The house is nice as well, although i did find several" hair balls"of rather long hair in the kitchen and bathroom. Along with a used dental stick on the bathroom floor. Margaret also gave us a 2 minute notice that she was coming over to mow the yard which i thought was rather intrusive when we were leaving this morning. We……

“Baker's Cottage is cozy and cute. Bathroom and kitchen seemed to have been updated lately. The small creek is lovely as is the side yard. The ceilings are attractive but low. I'm 5'9" and I could touch all the ceilings. I think a tall person wouldn't be comfortable here. The home smelled perfumey which would be a plus for some and a negative for others.”

“Looks like a big beautiful grassy yard in the pics but there's no yard... only a gravel parking area. Toilet is messed up with water turned off in the master bedroom/bathroom main floor. Really enjoyed our stay just wish we had room to do things outside. Awesome stay other than that!”
