Quiet condo

Our stay in Northstar Resort area was conveniently close to the busyness of Lake Tahoe, yet nice and quiet. Likes include: hot showers, comfy beds, quiet neighborhood, and beautiful sunset views. Dislikes: no air conditioning or ceiling fans, couldn’t find a hairdryer, and lots of cobwebs/spider webs all around. The staff who responded to our questions were quick to help and readily available.

Good condo; some improvements needed

Overall pretty nice, but: -sofa bed lacked sheets (though was promptly fixed) -coffee maker had no pitcher and was inoperative -while guests are indeed allowed to access the recreation center with pool and hot tub per the listing, directions to the center would be helpful and, more importantly, the listing should make clear that there is a $10/person charge to use it

All good, except door code

Everything was great, except 2 things: We arrived at night and door code would not work! Family was freezing outside, while I tried to call. 2nd, there were no checkout instructions, such as what to do with towels, bed sheets, garbage, etc.

Photos not accurate and stair flooring broken

The photos did not reflect the actual room setup/configuration in both bedrooms and the family room. The coffee maker was not clean (old coffee still in there) and the toaster oven was too dirty to use. Additionally, the flooring on one of the stairs broke loose and one of us fell down the stairs. This piece had clearly been broken before and was only glued into place, not nailed.

Definitely NOT a Northstar Property ..,

Everything was awful from the minute we walked through the door. The carpets are old and severely stained. The kitchen window had NO SCREEN. One of the bedrooms had holes in the screen. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. There was hair in one shower and something gooey in the other. Cobwebs are everywhere. The place smelled bad .. no air conditioning which makes it impossible to air out the odor. Essentially.. this place is grossly overrated and misrepresented.
