“Must go”

“The little cabin was conveniently located. We easily walked to downtown for shopping and dinner. Room was comfortable for our one night stay. We did not use the kitchen facilities.”

“This place is full of wildlife and secluded. We all enjoyed are time there.”

“Loved how secluded it felt while still being minutes from town. Had everything we were looking. Especially loved listening to all the birds on the balcony in the mornings.”

“Perfect little getaway spot! 2 people and a dog fit nicely if you’re open to a small space. Well appointed and modern. The bathroom area is quite small so just be prepared for that. The wrap around porch was lovely to relax all day. Quiet surroundings and wildlife all around. I’d come back every weekend if I could!”

“Nice quaint cabin close to town. We enjoyed our stay and host was proactive.”

“Super comfy bed! Close to everything. 5/5 would definitely stay here again!”

“This was our second time staying at the Blue Jay Nest, and we already can’t wait to come back! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is peaceful, the views are incredible, and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Every aspect of our stay was truly 5-star.……

“Excellent communication and location! Shops and brewery within walking distance. Host was great! Definitely a good place to escape the Texas summer heat!”

“This is a very quaint cabin for just 2 people. It has all the basics but if you intend on making some food there, bring the spices. Coffee brewer is good and plenty of filters are on hand. The bed is really comfy. The toilet must have been put in for a 5 year old because it is the shortest I have ever sat on. Location is really nice and close to the downtown area and plenty of wildlife roaming around. Cabin is a real rustic feel and we felt really comfortable there. All in all in was a……

“Overall, everything was very nice. The weather was beautiful so being able to sit outside on the patio deck was awesome. Even our dogs enjoyed the space of the cabin and deck. The bbq grill was dirty. We did by a grill scrub brush, a mixing bowl, a kitchen hand towel, and a bath mat. We left all these items behind for everyone else to use. So hopefully, those cleaning the cabin put them back after being washed (the kitchen hand towel and bath mat). We loved how close everything was such as……

“Had an amazing stay, unfortunately the property i booked had a power outage and I was contacted to choose another location under hummingbird-cabins, the one I choose was higher in price but was not charged the difference. The place in Alto was amazing, fed deer every day, wild horses roaming through the yard, beautiful views!!!!!!!!!! Will look into that one specifically next time!!!!!!!!”

“Comfortable.”

“Beautiful cabin. We loved how quiet and dark it was at night. No city noise, no obnoxious lights from neighboring homes. Only peace a quite which is what we needed. The cabin is cozy and well maintained.”

“Location very nice. Watch weather for flood Watch warnings-can affect road travels. Otherwise good experience.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.”

“Good stay but I was disappointed that the Keurig wasn’t working and no one came to fix or replace after reporting it our very first night. That is really my only complaint because it was a cute little cabin in a beautiful setting.”
