Rooms were clean and people were very friendly. Very relaxing place just we weren’t able to enjoy it due to construction next door, ( I know they can’t control that but would've been nice to have known in advance), Food was ok, just very limited small menu and not available certain items.

I had the ocean view suite, it was absolutely beautiful! I love the boho chic style. It is such a beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The Moro restaurant in the hotel is insanely good. The food is delicious. Everything is very clean and well maintained. They also have these very cute activities that are included. I also liked that the bike renting was included so you could just borrow a bike and explore the area. The area is very central, you’re super close to cool shops and beach clubs. I wish the hotel had an ATM that would have been helpful to get cash on site, I also wish they had room service. All in all it was such a wonderful experience and I would definitely visit again.

Amazing glamping facility, immersed in palm trees, with very good service, friendly staff and delicious restaurant! The external shower and toilet are fantastic! Beach and pool are not that big, still very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it!

A wonderful glamping experience! The space was clean, the staff are friendly and very professional. The outdoor showers are a fun experience in the jungle. Lots of privacy. The spaces were beautifully decorated and the copal really does keep the bugs away! The food at Habitas was wonderful. Eating breakfast right on the beach is so relaxing! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for an immersive experience in nature.

Do not stay at Habitas

Do not stay here. Rooms are uncomfortable and super hot. Toilet is gross. Beach is barely swimmable. Hotel management are liars.

We were disappointed with our stay, especially at the price point! SERVICE was mediocre, they don’t return, phone calls, or communication. Accommodations were not so clean. Tent had mold. No beach towels usually. The chair broke in the balcony, and my partner, fell back on the chair and hit her head badly. Good was just ok. Overall disappointed.

Terrible hotel

Unfortunately we did not do our research prior to booking at Habitas. You are literally staying in a tent with an outdoor toilet. When you walk the entire tent shakes. The toilet is gross as it gets filthy since it’s outside. If you are looking for a comfortable and luxury do not stay here. After the Worst sleep of my life, I checked out first thing in morning. Staff promised to refund my existing nights, yet to see the refund. I do not recommend this hotel

Habitas Tulum is an exceptional property with a unique character. Nestled in the jungle, the eco-resort blends luxury seamlessly into the natural environment in an extraordinarily picturesque location. It has a unique and extraordinary energy. When you couple the energy of the natural location itself, Habitas’s seamless development within it and the nutritious cuisine (all locally sourced produce), it’s very revitalising and makes for a relaxing stay. It is quiet, picturesque and therapeutic. I was initially booked for 4 nights, and I loved Tulum so much I added another 3 nights at Habitas. Habitas has done an excellent job, as they always do, having stayed in Habitas Al Ula previously - unique hotels of absolute quality. The only constructive point I will note (as this is not for everyone) is that this is truly an eco-resort. The rooms are temperature controlled and very comfortable / luxurious but the shower and toilet (in the Jungle rooms, at least) is in the back. While this is aesthetic and actually quite relaxing (cool vibes) it may be uncomfortable for some people who are a bit sensitive to the outdoors (insects and the like). Further, the rooms are effectively heavy duty canopy tented and, as such, when there is a lot of noise you would be able to hear it (generally, there isn’t). This cuts both ways as it immerses you in the environment while keeping you comfortable but equally, you can hear outside of there is say some works being done in the morning.

Wished we stayed here longer than the last spot we stayed at. This place is a getaway from the hustle and bustle. The staff are great and accommodating in every way. This place is heaven on earth!

I wanted to love it…. There was many options and we chose it because it was a boutique hotel and the aesthetics. But we had nothing but problems from beginning to end. It was adult only, and we arrived to eat dinner after a long travel day and there were kids running around. Food service was ridiculously slow. Food before the drinks came and if you wanted a second drink, good luck. Breakfast was great and ok service. But one day we had a boxing class above our head when eating it was loud music, loud instructions, and constant smacking hitting pads. The pool was not cleaned over night, I was kicked out for morning swim to clean it, when it was the best time to swim. One morning there was glasses and dishes left out literally all over the property and then broken glass beside the pool which I stepped in, told 3 people about it, it took over an hour until finally someone cleaned it up. Every morning there was glasses left out by the pool overnight. They have a texting service “text us if you need ANYTHING” I was writing them the issues and it wasn’t until our last day did they say they will finally escalate it to a manager, who they said came to talk to us but never did. Finally we talked to the manager at checkout and they comped our first meal that’s it. Hate to say it but it wasn’t relaxing at all, it stressed me out immensely after choosing this trip to relax after an illness recovery. Rooms were beautiful, but the road beside was loud all night. Won’t be back.
