This is not representative of what I expected of a Hilton. The hardware is decent but the software is terrible. The hotel logistics was a mess, design and layout poor, service mediocre at best. Examples include the very very infrequent cars that travel between your hotel room and the main lobby where most of the facilities and restaurants were. Toilets in the common area were extremely dirty with pee on the toilet seat at most times. Although it was all inclusive, they do not serve alcoholic drinks past 12am. Worst was, one of the nights the wifi stopped and guests had to pay for data.

The food was mediocre, gross with no flavor. The room service was ok, the rooms were clean , at times i had to contact guest services to request my room to be cleaned. The description of this resort is not what it's explained on the website and the lounge chairs were extremely limited. I will not go or recommend this resort

All the above, we arrived and paid for a connecting room they claimed the rooms were close together and had to wait for them to figure out that. The concierge gave very misleading information regarding dinner reservations and was rude her final answer was well it is high season you can order room service. I understand it’s high season but my stay was at peak season pricing as well. Day two of our stay I left a tip for the rooms to be cleaned not but they only cleaned one of the two. This was the same for the next 4 days. I asked to speak to a mod 2 times and that never happened. In addition they kept leaving only 6 towels when our group was 7. Restaurants that we had reservations at did not honor the reservation times with the Japanese restaurant seating us 1 hour after hour time as well as Mexcal. Both restaurants upon seating rushed us. I went to the lobby to ask what activities they had for New Year’s Eve. They were not sure and went to find out. While waiting a socket in the floor began to smoke and shot up flames the front desk seemed unconcerned. Finally the resort for New Year’s Eve did not have a family friendly event the entire main space was blocked off and used for a tequila tasting. The small areas to the sides had a few other activities but once again the area was very small and crowded due to the dominate space reserved and roped off. Over all the experience was poor at best. Was very disappointing.

The hotel overall is very poorly staffed. There were many times when at the buffet a section (e.g. chilaquiles station) wasn't staffed at all or there was one person staffing the bar for an entire pool. The service also overall was terrible with staff looking overwhelmed. It took over an hour and half to just get chips and guac to our cabana. We went for NYE weekend for 5 nights and we could only get reservations for 2 nights. This was initially understandable as they said the hotel was fully booked but when we got to the restaurants they were maybe at 30% capacity our whole seating?? When asking for anything like still water, we had to ask several times and several times we just gave up and ate our meal without water. Finally, the food was actually terrible. At the Asian restaurant, the tuna tataki was almost neon pink and inedible. At the buffet, there really aren't a lot if any toddler friendly options and it was like pulling teeth getting french fries at the buffet when they were available on the room service, and beach menus. Overall, very disappointing especially for NYE weekend. We will not be back

Hotel is beautiful and view was terrific. Hotel was at capacity for New Years and due to this reservations for dining were nearly impossible and cleanliness and attentive service suffered. That said, when you were able to find help, staff was friendly. Also wish there were more structured activities (game room or poolside fun) for the full family outside of kid/teen club. Location was great - easy drive (cab ride) to many adventure and scenic activities.

The food was okay but not amazing, I had such difficulty getting a reservation for the nicer restaurants. When we were seating to eat it took over 30 minutes at times to even get an initial drink order. The staff was amazing and kind.

We recently spent 5 wonderful days on a family vacation at this resort, and overall, it was an excellent experience that I would highly recommend to other families. The hotel itself was outstanding – clean, spacious, and well-maintained with beautiful facilities that kept everyone in our group happy, from the kids to the adults. The rooms were comfortable, and the on-site amenities (pool, restaurants, and kids' activities) were perfect for a relaxing yet fun family trip. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. From the front desk to the housekeeping and restaurant teams, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. Their warm service truly elevated the entire vacation. The only minor issue we encountered was a shortage of beach loungers (couches). On a couple of busier days, it was a bit challenging to find available spots by the beach, which was a small frustration after such a perfect setup otherwise. Despite that one small drawback, our overall experience was excellent. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about returning. Great value for a memorable family holiday!.

This is very difficult for me because I know ho lucky we are to be in a paradise like Tulum but the Hilton system was very flawed. You cannot make reservations in restaurants ahead of your trip and when we got there there were no reservations available! After much negotiating and calling they gave us one restaurant reservation on our last day at 9 pm! The chair situation in the beach was the typical in resorts, we had to get up at 6 to “reserve” ie put property in a chair in order to be able to sit by the ocean, at this point many hotels have other options, so we end up eating buffets sitting in the towel on the sand, which is not a match for the amount of money you pay. It’s not the workers fault but the Hilton company, just not a good experience as no one can give you answers or options. Workers, especially cleaning personal , were kind and extremely well done in their job.

Lovely resort perfect for a family stay with stunning views of the sea. Great facilities provided and we were given an upgrade to 'enclave' which gave us access to great cocktails at the enclave lounge. Staff were friendly and helpful mostly. Overall excellent facilities centred around family and amazing setting with a great private beach for the resort. Nice clean spacious rooms with a great rain shower. Things that could be improved - though we were given the upgrade with enclave access we were not told this at check-in so we only came to find out on day 3 of our stay by chance. The only area where we felt the staff were not as friendly was in cocomar restaurant which was supposed to be the more premium 'enclave' area and we therefore only used this area once. Similarly the jacuzzi area in the enclave area was also not working during the entire period of our stay. Room service and tidying was happening quite late on in the day, often at 5-6pm at which point it would be difficult as we were often giving kids showers and getting ready for dinner. The kids club was well equipped and the staff were very caring. There however could be better activities for the kids utilising outside and inside areas in a more active way such as sports for the slightly older kids. Overall an enjoyable stay however there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Thank you once again for the stay

Property is too big and going back and forth from room to restaurants/ main areas were a nightmare specially with a baby. Shuttles weren’t adequate enough. Rooms were clean, views were great, service was great as well. Food was okay, not the best. Location is good if you’re planning on staying in the hotel. If you wanna see around, it’s not the best place.

The property was beautiful, the shuttles made it easy to get around, everything was very clean, food was good for an all inclusive as well. There are many pools and the beach was better than I expected. There are also amazing views of the water from almost everywhere, and a very unique set up to the hotel with 6 different 3 story sections spread out and all directly on the beach.

Overall resort was good and we enjoyed our stay. Compared to few other resort the evening program was a bit average plus the drinks are not available in the room except beer and even the bars was closing at 12 However I did feel that the staff differentiates basis race - tables were always given in the corner to us, water and/or coffee not served in Vela without asking so many times but other tables would get it immediately Even the house keeping staff were not cleaning the room well or even stocking the mini bar which should be basic

Hotel is very clean , food is ok , out off the restaurants the Steak House is the best … Family hotel with no night life.. the beach is beautiful but has lots of big rocks ..overall experience if you’re looking to party/ nightlife entertainment This is not the hotel for you . I was staying at the hotel for 2 nights. Initially they did not give us the room we had booked for the first night, when I esclated they did and it was a comfortable one. Half of things are were not included in (all-inclusive) - all inclusive for them meant just eat as much as you like :P Events were not organized well and restaurants were booked already. Their excuse high season for everything. That being said property is nice and has a nice access to beach. It has it flaws but will I come here again may be, but I will be a lot more cautious.
