“Does what it says on the tin. A no frills property but equally very comfortable, clean and helpful friendly staff. Despite the room being above a pub I was not disturbed by noise as I went to bed each night. Breakfast very good with a good selection.”

“We visited over Father’s Day and the only disappointing aspect was that a number of items on the menu were unavailable at breakfast. Presumably because of how busy they were but I think they should have been prepared. The room was clean and well equipped. There was sufficient parking. The staff were helpful in the hotel and accommodating when we requested a ground floor room.”

“Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. ”

“We stayed in the main building where is obvious it is under renovation, (should probably be disclosed when booking). The room was spacious with a lovely big bed, issue was it was nearly 30° when we stayed and there was no air con in the room just a dusty tower fan and a window that only opened a jar. Also the lighting in the room is poor, I had to put a flash light over the 1 full length mirror to do my make up to go out. When we arrived at the hotel check in was easy enough but it is at 4pm……

“It literally is a lonely road as in buses pass there but finish early so if your flight is early either book a cab or walk 1hr5 like I did (would never recommend that as the environment was dark and road wasnt easy to walk on) as I arrived in had to wait for check in then got sent to the top floor with no offer of help with me suitcases (bear in mind its 3 floors no lift) not all thr staff are friendly. Put it this way...only stay there if you only need somewhere to rest your head in……
