“The weather played havoc with our Memorial Day weekend plans, but we still managed to have a great time. We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights.”

“Great little place to stay.”

“A relaxing getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The balcony was my favorite part, between the sitting area, grill, hot tub and view. Bonus was it was completely closed off so our dog could safely spend time outside with us. Nice to be able to take a short drive to a hiking trail and then come back to relax by the fire pit. Host was attentive to our feedback and we would definitely stay again. The only thing I would say is the ground is not as flat as it looks in some of the photos (obviously……

“Welcoming and spacious for all invitees and we did not even have a chance to explore all the areas that were surrounding as it was a work related trip but will get out there at some later point for a completely relaxing stay for sure”

“As expected. Very nicely appointed for a cabin in the woods. Did not use the pool or other amenities but they looked nice.”

“I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle. However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe. The gutters had plants……

“We stayed in this home (sponsored by Tony’s Blue Maple company) as we have stayed many times in his rental properties. This means, I trust his homes and the people that work there to make my stay top notch & safe. The place was amazingly clean. The beds were very comfortable and fresh. The AC units were working great as we stayed during a very humid and heat wave time 6-29-26 through 7-3-26. It was miserable outside and comfy in the house! We had an issues with the WIFI and took about……

“The view was beautiful, especially at sunset and birding was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately the property could use some work which made it hard for us to relax. Be prepared for a steep, rough road and driveway, drive a high clearance vehicle. Communication with host was great.”

“The posting warns about low ceilings and insects. I'm 6'1" and did fine, just watched my head on the step. I did see one spider, but otherwise very clean and not buggy. My only other criticism is there is one small trash can in the kitchen area and not the bathroom. Very cute and very comfortable, especially for just one night. My wife complimented it multiple times during our short time there.”

“As VRBO owners, we were very pleased with our accommodations. The house was amazing. Plenty of room for our 3-generation family! Kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and cookware for Gram’s famous fried chicken with lots of help from g’daughters. 4 bedrooms with beds that were super comfortable; cozy and warm for Gram, cool and comfy for the rest. Baths were convenient and offered nice quality, soft towels; along with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The W/D allowed “some……

“Beautiful cabin in the forest especially in the evening when the fire flies out and the sun sets.”
