The front of house staff who attended to me had an attitude. Was not willing to honour my request for twin beds - which was requested at the time of booking. Was blaming Expedia. Said Expedia does not send through requests. Will never visit this property again.

I booked two rooms well in advance. One room for my son and I, the other for my daughter and wife. We were across and down the hall in rooms that had internal access to two rooms. We had to call each other every time to meet up as we could not knock on each others doors as they were both within a second door. I don't know why we were not given double rooms within one entry from the hallway. The system/arrangement of 'double rooms' was horrific as we left early due my father-in-law dying the early hours of Boxing Day morning. We struggled to access one another due to the double entry doors on each others rooms, IT WAS HORRENDOUS. We should have had rooms side by side within ONE access from the beginning. Not happy with double entry, we should have been given rooms together. It was problematic during our stay and absolute PANDAMONIUM when we were trying to leave in an emergency to go back to Sydney due to his death. UNBELIEVEABLE!

Door to our room was common door with other room next door, had loud door slamming on and off which disturbed sleep. Also marijuana smell from people smoking on balconies was horrible sitting outside with this smell. Was not worth price we paid to relax at the coast.

Location to beach and restaurants was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was generally good. Ocean view was more a glimpse between buildings Outdoor pool was small and crowded. Lifts were generally out of order or extremely slow to arrive. Putt putt was a fun free activity Gym was extremely hot with the indoor pool next to it. Location outweighs the hotel faults - we used the beach rather than the pool :)

Check in was lacking didn't get told our room number, no guidance to where our was even was. Very poor communication. Room was neat and tidy facilities were clean shower had great water pressure. Pool was Lovely.

The block out curtains have lots of holes in them. You can feel the springs in mattress . Time to Upgrade mattresses or invest in good quality bed toppers .

Shower screen and floor was covered soap scum and build up of residue on the frame. It looked like it needs a really good clean if not replaced. Kitchen bench needed to be wiped down on arrival as food was stuck on it. Bedside lamp didn’t work- was reported but not fixed. Check in and car parking was simple. Staff were friendly and it’s in a great location. Overall it was a good stay.
