The property was immaculate, well equipped with helpful and friendly owners on site. The rear of the property had picnic tables available in a good garden , plus access to a grass field where we and our grand children could play games. The downside of the location was the busy main road in front of the property - a hazard for small children. Also , the distance away from facilities such as shops, cafes etc - therefore always needing to use our car. These downside points are owing to our unfamiliarity with this part of Sussex and our lack of research about the location.

This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would have got in touch, so I hope that I haven't left it too late to alert you to this issue, about which you may be unaware. Otherwise we had a trouble free stay.

This place is adequate if overpriced and soulless. Polyester sheets, doors that slam. Institutional. The units are all in one building. Not separate chalets, though each bit of it has its own entrance and separated space. Much better nearby for the price.

Lovely country side lodge with lots of little villages and country pubs in the surrounding area and Sheffield Park National Trust park 2 mins away and 30mins drive to Brighton and fields out the back the walk or let your dog have a run about

Booked Holly cottage for a week as a last minute holiday with a friend. Plenty of space and very clean property, good kitchen facilities and a shower room downstairs which it was perfect for my friend as she was recovering from recent surgery. Lots of fields to walk the dog at the back of the property and a nice cafe next door. Highly recommended

Great little cottage - spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Lovely to be able to walk out of the gate into the countryside and the beer garden next door! First trip away with our dog. Garden not 100% secure so we had to exercise him on the lead which was the only draw back.

we found the cottage, comfortable, clean and spacious, it was very well positioned for the things we wanted to do. we had a problem with the shower and it was fixed straight away, fantastic.
