“I reserved my room and was told that they didn’t have any rooms available on the property upon my checking in. They had me wait for 30 mins to an hour for someone to take me to a different location. When the staff arrived, he didn’t introduce himself and just told me to follow him. As we walked out the gate, I thought they would at least provide transportation. Only for the guy to tell me that we’re walking to this undisclosed location in the night. I cancelled my booking. Very unprofessional!!”

“We booked a room at the Carpe Diem Hotel for the final night of our 12 night stay in Uganda and it was the best by far, very friendly service, excellent food and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend”

“Fabulous place just watch out google maps puts it in the wrong place only a little but enough if arriving late in the dark. Service excellent have to arrange for food to be brought in for evening meal but breakfast as good as it gets”

“Beautiful view from the breakfast area. My room did not have electricity all during the day. The bathroom had no door just a ripped shower curtain. The shower didn’t work. It took 4 staff members coming in every 5 minutes to figure out the shower and by the time they showed us it was time to check out.”

“The stay was comfortable and the AC was amazing. Some things to note: The room was not soundproof at all (despite what the listing states), we could hear every conversation at the front desk. Maybe other rooms are different, but ours was right off the front lobby. The water took over 10 minutes to warm, so I took 2 cold showers assuming there wasn’t any hot water. There are not digital channels on the TV, there are 3 channels only and one is completely static. TV is too old to have an HDMI, so……
