Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated west in Uganda at the border to Congo. The park was appointed World Heritage Site in 1994. The landscape is low land mountains with rain forest, steep ridges and slippery valleys and high. The area around is heavily populated and small villages is also situated within the park itself. The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. The place is very nice and clean, however we felt a little bit scammed for the price of the food which is over European standard. They only have one choice and asked 20$ for it and you really don’t have other options in the area. They let you pay also the water…the road to come is very bad also. ...
