The bathroom (the room with a bath and not a toilet) had lots of smallish specks of mold. Everything else was good or fine. Service tried their best to communicate with me in English to varying effectiveness. The room was large and comfortable and honestly had more amenities than I had time to use which is quite nice. I was confused about where I could walk with shoes at first, and it appears that you can walk anywhere in the lobby with shoes on.

The property is near Shijo subway & bus-stop. A Family mart is a few metres away.
The hotel is well equipped with washing & cooking facilities. Instructions given on how to use them are clearly stated. It is spacious for the three of us. Will definitely return to stay at the hotel again if I am going to Kyoto in future.

"This is by far the biggest APA Hotel I’ve stayed in and the most impersonal. Wasn’t that impressed with the area. The women working in the breakfast restaurant were friendly and helpful though. Breakfast pretty good too."
