Cozy cottage in beautiful surroundings with views of the Hardangerfjord.



Fishing opportunities in the fjord are within walking distance, ideal if you want to test your fishing luck on vacation. The forest and mountains offer good opportunities for hiking, picking mushrooms and berries and fishing in the mountain lake. Hardanger National Park and Vøringsfossen are real nature pearls and are not far away. From the cabin it is not far to the beautiful village of Ulvik with stores and restaurants. In the summer Jondal Summer Ski Center is worth a visit.



Or how about a trip to Folgefonna, the third largest glacier in Norway? Voss is only 30 minutes away and is an Eldorado for winter sports enthusiasts.

Wunderschöner Ort, mit Blick auf den Fjord, im Rücken ein Wasserfall und einfach viel Natur. Ab und zu schippert die Aida entlang. Das Häuschen hat alles was man braucht, für die größeren kids gibt es nicht weit entfernt einen Bachlauf. Der Vermieter hat ein ganz tolles kleines Museum ganz in der Nähe, welches sehr interessant ist, mit Kino, tollen Bildern, sehr schön, auch wenn man kein Norwegisch versteht. Von hier aus kann man schöne Ausflüge machen, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Visiting my family heritage

I came to Ulvik/Villavik to see where my ancestors once lived and to walk where they once walked. The Handanger Fjord and all areas surrounding are amazing! Vallevik Fjordhytter, our cabin on the mountain was charming and peaceful and everything one could want! Paul was there for us if we ever needed anything or had any questions, very kind! I would love to return some day and if I do I hope to stay here again.

Das Haus und die Umgebung waren sehr schön. Wir waren schon oft in Norwegen, aber mehr in der westlichen Gegend oberhalb Bergen. Aber diese Ecke von Norwegen ist auch sehr sehenswert. Und in diesem gemütlichen Haus lässt sich der Urlaub sehr gut verleben. Der Vermieter war auch sehr nett.
