We had a wonderful time at this very well-equipped house--lots of swimming, local hiking, paddle-boarding and kayaking. The game room was very fun too and everyone in our group found it just perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this very well-appointed and spacious home! The host gave very detailed instructions with easy check-in. This house and location were perfect for our family. We enjoyed all the activities the house had to offer. We cooked, explored, hiked, and relaxed! Wildlife sightings every day. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Family vacation

We had a great stay The house had everything we needed and enough room for all 7 of us to be comfortable. The dock was really nice to have so we could easily hop on and off our boat daily. We enjoyed oysters and clams right from the beach! The location was great and David, the host could not have been nicer and easy to communicate with.

Relaxing place with a view

We celebrated my 60th birthday with family from Seattle and Corvallis OR. We had a great time on the water and enjoyed the location of the house to the golf courses.

Amazing home away from home

Our group was looking for a place was scenic views and enough activities and space for some good R&R. We went during the winter months and we all have to agree even during this time of month it is one of the coziest destinations to be. We can’t wait to return in the summer! Our host was super communicative and hospitable for our needs.

New Years Fun and Relaxation

Lots of big group meals, long soaks in the wonderful hot tub and gathering oysters, this house was just what we needed. An amazing amount if sleeping space, luxurious amenities and a well appointed kitchen. 10/10 would recommend.

New favorite spot on the Hood Canal

Every single box was checked when it comes to a home on VRBO. The owner was absolutely outstanding with communication. The house was very clean (at times it seemed like the rooms didn’t stop coming), the organization of all of their spare items was so easy to follow, and the view is spectacular! Would love an opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Vacation House For Teens and Tweens

We up to 12 people in this roomy home on Hood Canal. The water toys available the game room gave them and the adults our own space. Kids learned to kayak and stand up board in the calm waters. The TV room fit all of us of Jackbox TV games. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home. I hope to be back next year.

Very relaxing!

The house is well laid out and spacious. Location is superb! Right on the water, gorgeous views. Love the hot tub on the deck. The owners provided everything you need in terms of kitchen supplies, towels, blankets, nice bedding, plus all the wonderful paddle boards, the canoe, and paddle boat. The deck is just lovely with incredibly comfortable lounging furniture-- very well thought out! David was super responsive to my questions and very helpful. Relaxing and low key stay. Teenagers and adults very happy! We saw a golden eagle! PS: follow the instructions about getting into the driveway, it is tight but you can do it...

Great family retreat!

My eight person family enjoyed every aspect of this property: watching seals and ducks while playing board games on the deck, soaking in the hot tub after a hike through Staircase, kayaking, and air hockey! Perfect home and location!

We enjoyed every minute of our time at this house and really wished we had booked for at least two more days. We lounged on the dock while watching herons and seals and we spotted otters too one early morning! We relaxed in the hot tub, slept well in the deluxe beds, BBQ'd oysters on the deck, cooked a few meals in the beautiful kitchen and played games at the large table all while watching the changing views.

Perfect weekend on the water

Perfect home!

As a frequent VRBO renter, my adult sons and I have had excellent experiences. But, this home is the BEST we have ever seen. The home itself is beautiful, clean and has incredible features including kitchen, comfortable beds, game room, tv room and astounding views. The location and ample water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, etc.) were phenomenal!! My sons and I went out on the relatively warm water more often than we hiked (Olympic NP, Staircase hikes were nearby and gorgeous)! The seals (sea lions?) were adorable. Quickly sticking their heads out of the water to stare at us, then darting back under water. We could see a couple of them from the home's balcony and dock (without going out into the canal). And, plenty of restaurants with great food when we did not cook. Such an enjoyable stay. Thanks to the owners! I hope we will be back!

Oh, my gosh...

Our 16th annual "family week" was fabulous, greatly aided by this wonderful property! Everyone slept well, ate well, and never had to wonder what to do. Many paddleboarded, some kayaked and canoed, many local hikes were traveled, and the prime rib dip sandwiches and ice cream at the store down the road were wonderful. Fabulous meals were cooked in the well equiped kitchen and the oysters on the grill were beyond compare to any one might find in a restaurant! The big table was perfect for games and the big TV allowed us to cheer the Seattle Storm to victory in their first playoff game of the year. I can't recommend this location adequately - come here and have a great time!!!

Everything you ever want in a vacation home....and more

You will never be bored staying at David's rental in Union. It's on the water- with lots of water toys to use. The water is refreshing and seals were often curious what we were doing when we were in the water. The house fits 12 people perfectly. 4 kids can easily fit in the loft space and you can fit several blow up mattresses in the sleeping area in the game room if needed. We loved having the kids a little seperated from us so we could talk/hang out in peace. The game room was a blast! The deck/view was amazing. The kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals. We ate every meal in and even used the bbq. The hot tub worked perfectly. The weather was amazing. We rent a house with three families each year and this house was BY FAR the best house we've ever rented!

Absolutely gorgeous spot! We played, we swam, we paddled, and we even saw orcas swim by just beyond the floating trampoline just off the dock—spectacular! Delicious oysters! I very much hope we get a chance to return.
