“First class furnishings. Convenient to historic district. Enjoyed the complimentary cocktails on the deck and found the staff serving delightful and helpful regarding eating options. Breakfast pastries were delicious. Television was a challenge for us. No instructions on how to use. Staff was responsive to our texts but never could get the channels we were looking for to watch live sporting event(Brewers vs Dodgers).”
“My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! They even recommended some great restaurants nearby for dinner. Birch Lodge……
“The room of Holiday Motel is small but clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is also relatively clean. If the bathroom towels can be replaced with new ones, it will make people feel better. The reception desk offers free coffee from 7:45 to 22:00. Ron, the front desk, was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to introduce the surrounding scenic spots and features. He cleaned up the Motel……
“Beautiful setting on Lake Gogebic and nice view from the room. Room was quite small, two queen beds, a tv and a table and chair were about it. Coffee pot hadn't been cleaned. Dark and quiet which was awesome. Biggest disapointment was the pizza at the lodge.”
“It was easy to find and settle in. The only "complaint" that I would have is there is a tree growing from the beach and blocking the view from the chairs. We had a great view of the lake through sunset and moon rise, and the sunrise proved the name Paradise.”
