- Come enjoy the sights, sounds and serenity of our fantastic getaway home nestled in a cedar forest on top of a water fall! Our Cottage at Firefly Falls has a great room with cathedral ceilings and massive stone fireplace, gracious cook’s kitchen, 1.5 baths, open loft for sleeping, and deck overlooking the waterfall. In combination, Firefly Cottage and Friefly Retreat make for a great option for gathering with others. We have keyless entry and security cameras overseeing entries and fiber optic broadband service. Our home provides a perfect getaway for artists, writers, nature lovers, sled heads, or for family gatherings (together with our Retreat), romantic getaways, and friends weekends.

We rented both properties for my daughter’s wedding party as well as for having an informal wedding rehearsal and dinner. Everyone loved the homes and there was plenty of space for all. Beautiful home 2 minutes from the wedding venue.

As a guest it is difficult to leave the Cottage. You want to stay longer. While there you become part of it and immerse yourself in the beauty, tranquility, and design throughout, including the handblown sconces, cornice details, wood corbels, and of course the sound of the rushing falls. Your mind and soul become one; you are transported into a magical state of being, not wanting to return to reality. Robin made all this happen with her vision. Her attention to detail, willingness to share and go beyond expectations made it possible to experience the Cottage in a beautiful, personal way. Thank you for your hospitality, responsiveness to all questions (no matter how mundane) and your generosity. Robin is an amazing host who has left nothing to want in her well stocked incredible home. Thank you for giving us memories to last us for the rest of our lives.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage nestled beside a stunning waterfall. The natural scenery was breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop that made our trip truly special. The cottage itself was beautifully crafted, with impressive woodwork that added warmth and character. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of stocked water and adult beverages available on the honor system (take one, leave one), which made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this unique retreat for anyone seeking nature and comfort!

We had such a fabulous, restful and peaceful time at Firefly Falls Cottage. I don't think we slept better in years. Everything was so convenient to travel to, yet off the beaten path. It was our first stay here and hopefully not our last. Falling asleep to the falls was so soothing and everything you could ask for was provide. Robin the host was incredibly responsive to each question. Do yourself a favor and stay at this amazing retreat. You will not regret it.

Great therapy
The sounds of the rushing water and the beauty of the setting were therapeutic to erase the tensions of our busy lives. The surrounding countryside was also calming and visually inspiring. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and lovely.
