"Not welcoming staff. Sadly a female staff who stands by the check in machine wasn’t helpful at all, she didn’t let me go to the counter either. It would be nicer to see someone with welcoming attitude when we arrive in the hotel. It’s was my first time using this hotel, of course I don’t know what to do, perhaps little support and smile can help. This hotel has a Japanese style public bath included (free of charge) which is very nice. Good location. "

"Nice place, nice breakfast. Comfy bed and quiet enough. If not for the strange smell from the bathroom (plumbing), it would've been a lot more enjoyable. "

"The service at this hotel is by far the best service I’ve ever had in all of the hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. From general inquiries before booking to checkout, my questions were always answered and they were amazing in their communication speed and the thoroughness of their answers. The rooms were large, comfortable and the bathrooms are awesome. The only thing I wish they had were bath salts for the tub but otherwise everything is there for you including a water dispenser on your floor. Breakfast was great and the location is good for those who want to be accessible to everything but in a quieter area of Osaka. Will definitely stay here again when I come back and visit as it was one of our most memorable stays in Japan."

"This property was clearly labeled as VIP Access on Expedia. At check-in, the hotel staff stated that they are not a VIP Access property and that no such benefits exist. I also contacted the hotel through Expedia the day before arrival to request an early check-in. The hotel confirmed they never received the message. At the front desk, early check-in was offered only if I paid extra to upgrade the room, despite the VIP Access labeling shown on Expedia. This is a serious service failure. Properties should not be advertised as VIP Access if the hotel itself denies participation, and guest messages must be reliably delivered. The experience caused confusion, wasted time at the front desk, and significantly damaged my trust in Expedia."

"The hotel itself was very clean! The staff were nice and the room was big compared to others we stayed in. Bathroom was spacious and the beds were nice! We did not like that this was the only hotel that charged us a nightly tax but outside of that I don’t really have many complaints. It is VERY close to the train literally like 10 ft away. It allowed us to commute all around and not have to walk far when we returned. There is also a family mart on the corner of the same street which came in hand for late night snacks and beverages. We really like this hotel and although It was pricey and then had the additions tax we would likely stay again. If they get rid of the tax we would DEFINITELY stay again! "
