Great location, slightly disappointing unit
The location is fabulous! And that’s really what you’re paying for here. As mentioned in plenty of other reviews, here a quick hit list of the property
-great location
-host responds quickly
-no parking included. Can be very pricy through the Vail public parking garage
-the pictures are a little outdated as the decor and things have changed. I didn’t think the space looked nearly as nice as the photos
-no central AC system, just a single AC unit which was not turned on so upon our arrival so it was sweltering hot
-cleanliness was sub par to say the least. Found long black hairs everywhere, a used q-tip on the ground, and just felt like the common areas were dirty
-the pull out couch didn’t seem functional
-the spiral staircase definitely limits your ability to bring luggage upstairs. I had to keep my suitcase downstairs in the common area
Overall, if you need a place to sleep, yeah book this place. If you’re looking for a comfortable and charming experience in vail, I’d look elsewhere.
Responsive manager, perfect location, clean. Older people and anyone with mobility issues should not stay here. Only access to the unit is by stairs that are fairly steep (a real pain with luggage!). Bedroom is a loft reached by stairs - which we knew. But description says sleeps 4 so we thought we could sleep on the fold-out couch to avoid the stairs and because the only bathroom is downstairs. It was terrible. Essentially it's a futon that has no support beyond the couch edge - it literally slants down so that you slide down. We put everything we could think of under the bed to try to level it but it was very uncomfortable. Obviously 2 people who don't mind stairs can sleep upstairs but it is simply incorrect to say that this unit sleeps 4 people as the pull-out bed is untenable. Also, the air conditioner is a mobile unit that emits cool air but in a very limited space. We were ok bc there was a box fan in the unit that was quite powerful. We brought it down from upstairs. Again, if people were sleeping upstairs, they would need the fan and would likely be fine but then the people downstairs would not be comfortable because the AC unit was just not effective. We did not expect this to be a luxury unit by any means but it still disappointed.
To be in the heart of Vail Village at a reasonable price made our stay enjoyable. Property owner was quick to reply and there were no issues throughout our stay. Thank you !

Good location…the bed was comfortable… lots of hot water for showers or baths. We had an issue with the access code but we were able to get right through to the owner who helped us in.

Small but great location
Stayed here with my brother for 5 nights. Sofa bed is not very comfortable, and would not be ideal for 2 people, so would keep this in mind. Clean, simple, small, great location. Would be ideal for a couple, but very tight for more than two people. While unit has a TV with cable, channels did not include ESPN or TBS, which was a disappointment during March Madness, but a good excuse to go watch basketball at a bar. Kitchen well equipped.

This property was the worst vrbo I have ever stayed jn .Bedroom is a loft not a room . Bed mattress is on the floor. Oven never cleaned smoked us out of the place . Fire alarm went off in middle of the night right over the bed ! This place is a joke ! Glad they think they can get away with this in vail becuse its vail ! Dont waste your money ! We stayed one night and left out of our two day stay ! Skip this place the pictures dont tell the story .. Dont be fooled !!!
The owner’s descriptions on getting to the room and getting situated was well written. However, one thing I wish was mentioned would have been that parking over night each day at the public parking (non-solaris parking) is still pricey. It would do you well to look this up beforehand and mine was $60/night, which blindsided me when I left. Three nights would essentially be $180 total. I guess that’s just how Vail is in terms of parking being expensive. I’m used to other ski resorts having parking included.
Besides that one minor inconvenience, the place is a ski in ski out for sure. It’s located right in the heart of Vail Village with nice restaurants surrounding it. It’s just a few minutes walk to the gondola. The price for the location is good and there can be loud music from the stage if something is happening, but that tends to be near the weekend and stops around 10 pm. I was a fan of it. This is an excellent spot for up to 4 people, but it will just be a bit more snug.

Expected more
I have to start by saying that I did not contact the property owner regarding these issues during my stay, as I just trying to avoid additional hastles.
The plumbing system is strange. It seems like the tub, toilet and sink in the bathroom are all connected. If you took a shower and someone else tried to use the toilet, a few minutes later, the water would back up in the tub, from what was recently flushed. We were only able to take showers on the first full day we were there, quite disappointing if on a ski trip.
2nd, there is no way to get fresh air into the unit. It looked as though the window cranks were removed and the windows sealed. It would have been real nice to have some fresh colorado air, especially since there were plumbing problems.
3rd, the sleeping equipment felt really old and cheap. I understand that you can appease all guests, some like firm and some like soft, but a quality firm mattrest is still comfortable, and I sleep on a firm back home. The loft mattes was hard as a rock, not firm. Investment in a quality mattress should be done. The pullout mattress, which we used because the upstairs was so uncomfortable after a day of riding, was as if there was no mattress at all. It was compressed, and the frame was so sagging, that your feet were more elevated than your head.
Location is great for the money, but definitely not the r and r we were looking forward to on our vacation. If you are okay with roughing it, and need to book on budget, this will do it, but I would have rather spent a hundred more per night and enjoyed nice sleeping arrangements, working plumbing, and fresh air.
Here’s a polished review draft you can use (and adjust tone if you want it friendlier or sharper):⸻Review:We recently stayed at this apartment and while the location was convenient, the space itself was much smaller than expected. The bedroom is located upstairs with a very tight spiral staircase, which made carrying luggage difficult. The ceiling in the bedroom was also very low — you can’t stand up straight, which felt uncomfortable. Overall, the setup was not ideal for a longer stay or for anyone looking for a more spacious, practical layout.
The condo location is perfect in the heart of the village. It is close to restaurants, shopping, ice rink and ski slopes. The condo has all you need to enjoy your stay in beautiful Vail Village. The bedroom loft was uncomfortable for me, I am claustrophobic . I slept on the sofa bed. It was comfortable and I loved having the fireplace to enjoy while in bed. The condo only had the bedding on the bed upstairs. There were no extra blankets, sheets or pillows. Overall for the price the condo was wonderful for 2 people.
Very nice location in Vail Village. Would stay again.

A little misleading
Overall, it was ok. Location in Vail Village was great except it was on top of a pizza place. When we got there the place hadn’t been cleaned. Juan was responsive and got there as soon as he could. Wouldn’t call it a deep clean by any means. The biggest thing was the misleading advertising, there are no pictures of the very narrow spiral staircase into the loft which you can’t stand up in.
This condo has everything you need for a Vail get away. 3-minute walk from Vail transportation center, which was great for us because we didn’t have a car. This spot is in the heart of the village. Comfy bed and nice shower - would come back!
This little condo has everything! Location rocks tight in the center of Vail. The “core condo building “ is a little dated but this little condo was very well equipped for two. Drip coffee maker and toaster. Two packets of tide, a roll of paper towels, dawn soap, even some coffee there. For the price this condo was a super bargain! Thank you
1. Please ignore any of the negative reviews. This property is nicer is person than it even is in the pictures. We had 3 adults. The roof in the loft area is sloped and shorter, but we expected that. It wasn’t a problem at all. This is a budget location. We absolutely loved it. If you want luxury, increase your budget. This place is well priced for what it is.
2. This is an excellent location. We easily walked to the slopes at Vail Village. We loved the shopping and restaurants right out the door.
3. We had 3 adults- me, my sister, and my Dad. It was perfect.
4. The property manager Juan is absolutely amazing. You’re going to see that over and over again in these reviews. It was exactly our experience as well. We spent the first night in Denver to help with altitude sickness and came straight to Vail to hit the slopes. My sister ended up getting altitude sickness. 🤦🏻♀️ Our check in wasn’t until 4. I gave Juan a call at 12 and asked if there was any way we could get in early so we could get my sister in bed. Juan said he thought he could get us in 2 and to give him a call then. Surpassing expectations, Juan gave me a call a little over a half hour later and he got us into the room at 1. We couldn’t have been more grateful.
We 100% recommend. If you’re looking for location at an excellent price, this is the place for you!

Great location; right in the middle of the Village. Property needs a bit of renovation. Parking in Vail is expensive. Actually, everything in Vail is expensive.
We booked our trip to Vail during the holiday, and Antoine's apartment was the perfect stay. The most important thing was the location, and this is right smack in the middle of Vail village. The space was perfect for the two of us, and we were pleased with the cleanliness. The bed was comfortable, and so was the sleeper sofa! We really took advantage of the fireplace. It was so lovely to sit watching the snowfall with the fire on. MAGIC. The check-in process was easy, and the host sent detailed instructions days prior to checking in to make sure everything ran smoothly. In addition, during our stay, we had to call the host to ask a question, and he immediately picked up the phone. This was something we really appreciated since hosts aren't always readily available. Thank you, Antoine! Overall, the space was perfect for us, and everything we needed was provided. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
